The dragon is the fifth of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. In the Chinese culture, the dragon represents good luck, strength, health and also the male element Yang.

The dragon symbolizes supernatural power, wisdom, strength, and hidden knowledge. It is also energetic and outspoken. Dragons are natural leaders.

Famous people who were born in the year of the dragon are:

Joan of Arc - Leader.

Boris Johnson - British Prime Minister.

Julius Caesar - Roman dictator.

Adele - British Singer and Songwriter.

Bruce Lee - actor, martial artist.

Dragon years start from Feb of these years: 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000 and 2012.

This is a wonderful time for my family and I to gather, feast, play, and wish each other well. Here is a picture of my first Lunar New Years party at church with sister missionaries from Vietnam.

I love the Literal Language of the body. Our body is talking to us all the time. It gives us clues as to how to change and center ourselves. It is a starting point to finding out the root subconscious programming within us and explains why we do what we do. It helps us become more self aware and therefore more in control of our lives. To me, it means I can more effectively strengthen my faith instead of going around in circles!
