Hooks, cords, codependency, and attachments are similar.  They are all unhealthy attachment to one person's energy that drains the power of another.  It stems from a lack of self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-love and communication skills.  Go ahead and unhook people from your energy or unhook yourself from people’s energy so you can have more joy, power, and stronger relationships.
