BREAKING NEWS

A dynamic group of speakers will be featured at 2023 Enrichment & Empowerment Women's Conference to be held on Feb. 25, 2023, in Tallahassee, Fla.

Former Judge Judith Hawkins, the conference's host, will also be the the keynote speaker. She'll share spiritual principles to help women who aspire to "Living THE Balanced Life." The guest speakers will each share from their areas of expertise focusing on health and wellness, spiritual lessons and how to plan for the future to make big dreams a reality.

The undergirding purpose of the conference is to teach women how to live spirit-led, balanced lives in this hectic, modern world by applying spiritual principles and values to earthly decisions. As you know, everything about us — our thoughts, values, emotions, goals, and even eating habits — are influenced by the world's secular views. "Living THE Balanced Life" requires us to align our horizontal (earthly) decisions with our vertical (heavenly) values and principles; only then we are centered.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS

DR. MICHELLE MITCHAM, CEO of Courageous Conversations, a counseling, coaching and consulting practice will be on hand to help us conquer life's challenges and stressors to improve our overall mental health.

DR. MARY ASHLEY will answer your questions about eating a "clean" diet. She is the owner and operator of Ashley's Herbals and Health Counseling. She is a Doctor of Naturopathy and is also classified as a Natural Health Specialist, Master Herbalist, and Nutritional Counselor.

MELODY HENDERSON is the Owner of Melmechelle Fitness, LLC. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Human Movement Specialist.

NEIBRA WILLIAMS is an experienced family law attorney and CEO of Neibra Williams & Associates, LLC, her Georgia consulting firm. She assists individuals and businesses with setting realistic goals to help them reach their full potential and take their businesses to the next level.

Former Judge Judith Hawkins was a panelist on Hope Channel International Inc.'s Sabbath School Bible study program during their Celebration of Hope event in Orlando, Fla., in October.

The in-person, three-day event featured Hope Channel donors and viewers, ministering to each other.

Hawkins was interviewed by Hope Channel for a story on their website about the event themed "Reassurance": "The presentations reminded me that Jesus Christ is transforming lives; it's a transforming hope until life eternal. I'm excited to be a partner with Hope Channel International and I encourage those who watch Hope Channel to not only be a partner but to share this ministry and its meaningful programs with others."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT

The Sentencing/Reward Phase (Part 5c)

Continuing our discussion of the book of Revelation as “The Trial of the Universe,” we learned that the Bible teaches we must wait until the Second Coming of Christ to receive our reward of eternal life or eternal damnation. That is because Jesus must know each person’s reward before He returns to “give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:11, see also John 5: 28, 29).

Since some people will be alive to experience the “glorious appearing of ... our Saviour Jesus Christ,” His second coming will be worldwide in scope and appearance; there is no rapture or second chances granted. No one will have to tell anyone that He came! (Titus 2:13, Revelation 1:7, Matthew 24:23, 27).

The living righteous, joined by the sleeping (dead) righteous who are resurrected, will ascend “to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:15-16, 1 Corinthians 15:12-19, Revelation 20:6).

And the wicked living? They "shall be destroyed with the brightness of his coming” and not live again “until the thousand years were finished” (2 Thessalonians 2:8, Revelation 20:5).

So actually, Jesus comes one more time—at the end of the millennium as explained in Revelation 20. “For, behold the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch” (Malachi 4:1).

Finally, praise God, “... the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest” (Job 3:17). O, what a day that will be when no longer do we walk by faith but experience the promises of Revelation 21 and 22. Stop and read those wonderful promises of final victory for God’s people.

Let’s each determine to be ready to shout “in that day, 'Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation' ” (Isaiah 25:9).
