Paul B. Zimmerman opened his modest 40′ x 60′ farm repair shop near Lititz and Ephrata, Pennsylvania in 1947. His reputation as a trustworthy maker and repairer of machinery grew, and he expanded his shop several times in the 1950s and ’60s.

The “shop,” as it is still known, grew into PBZ Manufacturing, a full service metal manufacturing company that specializes in OEM, job shop, project and contract manufacturing.

The same resourcefulness that Paul brought to fixing equipment for nearby farmers is in the DNA of PBZ manufacturing...
