Dear VHT enthusiast,
EDITH recently had its midterm review, filled with valuable feedback and encouraging comments that propel us forward. I'm excited to meet you all in Paris next January: this is a golden opportunity for us to meet face-to-face, exchange ideas, and collectively shape the future of the VHT. I eagerly anticipate the collaboration and synergy that will unfold during our time together!

Osteoporosis is a disease that affects the bones and makes them more fragile, so that an otherwise harmless fall can lead to a fracture.

The University of Bologna has developed a new digital twin to predict the risk of femur fractures in elderly patients based on a femur CT scan: the model helps healthcare professionals to assess patients’ fracture risk and adapt behavioural and pharmacological treatment.
