Onderwerp: [EDITH] A holiday update from EDITH: what’s ahead in 2025

Dear VHT enthusiasts,
We are deep in the EDITH trenches working hard to wrap up everything before the end of the year! Early in the new year you will receive a final newsletter on the last deliverables and the extended summary of the EDITH roadmap. The full technical roadmap will be released upon acceptance by the European Commission, foreseen for end of February. Stay tuned for more details!

In the meantime, we wish you a relaxing holiday period, and all the best for a happy and healthy 2025!

Towards a Code of Conduct for the re-use and integration of Virtual Human Twins

The public Deliverable D6.2 “Towards a Code of Conduct for the re-use and integration of Virtual Human Twins: analysis of the legal landscape and identification of legal and ethical challenges” is now available on EDITH website and in our Zenodo collection.

This is a must-read for anyone interested in the current legal and ethical challenges in the European VHT landscape. Check it out!

VHT Manifesto: still going strong

As EDITH is ending, the European Commission will take over the VHT manifesto, which has currently been signed by over 100 organizations. If your organization has not signed yet, you can now do so following the new link below. The colleagues at the European Commission will then get in touch to guide the signing process. If you have already signed, you will have received an email with the request to re-share your information so that European Commission can reach out directly to you with updates regarding the VHT initiative.

EDITH legacy mailing list

After two years, the EDITH project is coming to an end. However, the journey of the VHT is only just beginning. The VPH Institute, as coordinator of EDITH, would like to keep you informed of any further developments on the VHT front. In order to do that, we ask your permission to add your contact details to a dedicated EDITH legacy mailing list. We will use this mailing list strictly to communicate about VHT-related information. You can withdraw your name from it at any time you want. If you want to stay in touch, please complete the following form - which should take no more than 1 minute.

EDITH wants to acknowledge all the contributors!

The VHT roadmap is the result of countless interactions, exchanges, questions, comments and contributions over the last 2 years. Every one of those has been significant in its own way and we would like to acknowledge the people behind them. As a participant in EDITH activities, you will be listed as a contributor. In case you prefer that your name is not mentioned, please let us know.
