Subject: Day 2 Improve Respiratory Health Challenge

POSITIVE AFFIRMATION - I am grateful to my body, lungs, and heart for everything they do to support me and allow me to live.

Good morning Friend!

Today is day two of our seven day improve respiratory health challenge.

How was day one? What were you able to add in? How were your meals? What was your favorite part about the day? Please share via email or in the Facebook group your thoughts. I'd love to hear!

As a reminder, you do NOT have to incorporate all the recommendations in the 7 day challenge. The most important parts are your mindset, what you eat, the breathing exercises and the meditations.

I must apologize for the abrupt ending to Erin's meditation yesterday. I have attached the full version which is about 30 seconds longer so you can access the full version whenever you like.

I hope you enjoy Day 2. Please remember to take pictures and either post them on Facebook or email them to me. I'd also love to know how the meditations and breathing exercises are working for you.

Today we will move onto the 4-2-6 breathing exercise. Click HERE to access a guided breathing video.

Following the breathing exercise, we have a beautiful meditation created by Debby Meadows of Let it Flow just for this day. You can find out more about Debby or follow her on the following (just click the link):

Click the video below to access today's meditation with a focus on letting go.

Today's meditation with Debby Meadows.

Yesterday's meditation with Erin Clarke. Again, my apologies for not having the entire meditation.

As mentioned in the first email, I may add some interviews, recipes or additional information that may be of service that you can look at now or come back to in the future.

Today, I'd like to highlight one of my speakers from the Breathe Easy, Breathe Well virtual event - Justin Shelton and share her interview.

Justine is a Certified Viniyoga Therapist, Co-Founder of the Yoga Vista Academy and author of their ‘Gentle Yoga for Low Back Care’ specialty certification program. Justine specializes in structural yoga therapy, specifically spinal disc injuries, back pain management, as well as joint therapy – including prehab and rehab for replacements. She encourages her students to practice where their body is right now, allowing for the constant change and growth that comes with a dedicated practice. One of the reasons she loves Yoga is that there is always more to learn, always room to grow…this, in addition to her love of anatomy and physiology, keeps her curious mind in learning mode. Justine’s gift lies in conveying in layman’s terms the healing powers of Yoga.

In the interview, Justine discusses how yoga can help with lung health, daily practices of Ayurveda, and how to strengthen the alveoli sacs in the lungs

Justine offers a series of yoga videos on YouTube for better breathing that can be found HERE.
