We are looking for a mission-aligned and highly motivated Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical project management and operational support to 2X Global programmes including those that support our internal team, members and the broader gender-lens investing ecosystem.


In particular, this Associate will work closely with our Director of People & Programmes to develop the systems and processes to support our global team through our People Practice, as well as working with our Member Engagement Lead and Director of Community & Innovation to plan and coordinate our 300+ person Annual Member Meeting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and operational support to a range of global programmes - with a focus on virtual and in-person event design and management.

  • Work alongside colleagues to achieve other strategic priorities - these might include research, writing reports, preparing slide decks, interviewing, project scoping and development etc.

  • Facilitate a vibrant membership community and quality membership experience by supporting diverse stakeholder engagement, community management, digital collaboration and content creation.

  • Provide administrative support across work streams, including documenting meeting actions, coordinating calendars and meetings, responding to member inquiries, working with vendors etc.

  • Support the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) management across all workstreams.

  • Collaborate effectively as part of a remote-working programmes team and contribute to the successful delivery of the wider 2X Global strategy.


Skills and Experiences


We anticipate this role to be suitable for a candidate with 3+ years of experience.

  • Understanding both gender and/or finance and the field of gender-lens investing is an advantage. A genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for the endeavors of 2X Global is essential.

  • Rock-solid team member and highly trusted. This role will be varied, including supporting senior team members and key stakeholders, with no two days looking the same; you will grow by being someone others can count on.

  • Proven project management, time management, and organisation skills, with exemplary attention to detail. Proactive in using tech tools to support effective project management.

  • Demonstrable experience in in-person and virtual event management in an international context.

  • A strong interest or experience in people practice processes such as recruitment, onboarding, internal training, performance management cycles etc.

  • Curiosity and openness to new ideas and learning new things.

  • High quality interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Motivated by professional inquisitiveness, solving problems and creative use of digital technology to run projects, collaborate and share information.

  • Receptive to feedback, with a growth mindset.

  • Good alignment with the mission and values of 2X Global, and deep commitment to the organisation’s desire to be a role model in diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Works well in a fully remote global team and is open to travel.

Benefits

  • A salary range of USD $45,000 – $60,000, depending on the candidate's experience and credentials. 2X Global employees are paid through a national payroll provider, in their local currency, with a social security plan and industry-standard benefits package.
