You can't do it all by yourself.
So before I get into what I want to share with you today, I have to vent.
Yesterday, on FB I mentioned my irritation that a colleague close to me stole some of my ideas and copied some of my stuff!
I don't want to keep the negativity going so I won't get into details but I brought it up because I wanted to encourage you, in case this has/does happen to you.
Ready?
They ain't you! It's simple, somebody can copy everything you do and still won't you.
Now don't get me wrong Friend, there is nothing new under the sun but, if you like something that someone else has - be inspired and create your own, put your own spin on it but don't copy it.
I know you're probably thinking like I did at first. You're saying "I spend time planning and creating things for my business and I hate to see someone come along copy my hard work"
Instead of getting upset, try being flattered. Someone copied you because your stuff is da bomb!
That won't make up for the time you spent, that's just a wash. Oh yes, speaking of time.
Let me ask you a question. Are you taking time for you? I know I hadn't been.
Things have been moving at such a fast pace lately, that I stopped taking time to smell the roses. And since I'm a control freak, I had been juggling a million things at once alone for way too long.
Guess what no break and doing it all equals? Burnout.
If you suffer from "GottaDoItAllMyselfitis" like I used to, you need to stop immediately.
In today's post I share the six lessons I learned from burnout and how you can avoid heading down the same road. Head over to the blog now to find out how avoid the crash.
