One week when our team was in prayer, I had a vision of the intercessors—they were praying against a wall. [I wish we were all in the same room so you could see me as I try to explain what I would actually act out for you if we were together.] I saw a very large wall that was pressing against the intercessors, but they anchored themselves in, preparing to fight! They placed one foot to the back, and with their front knee bent so they could lean into the battle, pushed against the wall with all they had. What was pushing the wall back against them? Pure darkness—it was being pushed back at them by pure darkness, with the intercessors on one side and the darkness on other.

What was “the wall”? Righteousness—it was wall of righteousness that God has establishing for our nation. As we prayed and prayed, I could see clearly the efforts put forth by the intercessors, each sweating profusely as they were working very, very hard to get this wall leaning forward so it was not leaning against us. I also sensed strongly that this wall had to be pushed through by the intercessors on behalf of our nation. I cannot begin to tell you how crucial it was that the prayers be successful.

Suddenly, the wall moved upright! (Listen closely here.) When this happened, I saw the darkness, and I saw fear hit the darkness! At that very moment, the faith of the intercessors rose up and they began, with all of their might, to push and push and push against this wall! I knew it was the intercession of the saints, pressing, pressing, and pressing against this barrier. I could visibly see it as we made headway against the darkness. The closest visual image I can provide is that of Iwo Jima when the soldiers were surrounding the flag, all working together to plant the flag! In the statue, every soldier is leaning into it with all they have because they want to be a part of this great moment.

I asked the Lord what it was that He was showing me, and while the answer did not come immediately, I prayed over it during the next several days. This week (the week of this message), He answered. The Lord told me that through the intercessory work we did in March, we’d brought that wall to a place where it was upright, and we were on even ground. As the intercessors continue to pray, we are affecting the darkness that tries to bring righteousness down. Often we feel like darkness is just caving in on us and there is a non-stop battle that we experience. The truth is, we are making tremendous headway against the darkness.

God is a God of promise and He promised us in His Word, “If My people will humble themselves and pray, repent from their wicked ways, I will heal their land! I will heal their land!” He is a God of promise! So, here we are, many months later, and every week we have three or four praise reports of abortion clinics closing or states taking critical action to protect these precious lives. I was at the airport when I got the first report and it’s continued. We are making headway in terms of abortion! We must continue the fight friends, dialing back the time on abortion, so that we are not dealing with abortions at 30 weeks, at 26 weeks, at 24 weeks, but we are turning back the time, more and more time, protecting those who cannot stand for themselves, until it is finally overturned.

The fight we are in is a long fight; we must press in and press on. You can go to our website and see victories from the Gatherings as well from time together in our corporate prayer calls. GOE.”] You can also find news articles wherein victims of human trafficking are freed, because God is freeing the children of this nation! Why? Because we came together, we humbled ourselves and we prayed, and He is healing our land.

Why do I share this with you? Because this year, God is taking us into new places in Him. He has taught us to “know no bounds” and to refuse to limit God in our walk with Him! He’s refining us at deeper levels than ever before—remember, 2018 was the year of refining. Now, I see Him bringing together a new breed of believers! The new breed of believers possesses a faith unlike anything I have seen before. They will be anchored in their God and walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ so deeply that He will emanate from them. He has given us promises and we must hold onto His promises. Why? Because He is releasing those promises!
