Dear Friends, We are less than two months from the October DC Gathering of the Eagles, and I cannot remember a time in our Nation’s history when the need to pray was so great. We’ve had tremendous breakthroughs over the years, and we give God all the glory for those victories. However, the enemy knows the foothold he’s had in our nation for decades is shaking loose and as a result, he’s trying to provoke hatred in the heart of whoever he can hoping this will strengthen his hold. Friends, intercessors, we cannot just stand idly by while he spews this darkness over the land. We must fight back through prayer!
We are on the cusp of something great, so powerful, something that will pave the path for true reconciliation in our nation. We cannot release even one inch of ground we’ve gained; not one single inch! Let’s continue in our prayer efforts! Let’s come before our Lord, humble ourselves and pray in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14! Amen? Amen!
Prayer is what the Gathering of the Eagles are all about. We seek the heart of the Father on behalf of the Nation. Together, we face the tough issues that break His heart and ultimately hinder the blessings of God from being released upon the country. It’s not easy.
We’ve seen so much fruit from the past two decades of intercession—from laws that were enacted to protect the victims of human trafficking to heart-beat bills to protect the unborn, and for the first time since Roe v Wade, we have a president who believes that life begins at conception. THIS is true change, change that can only be brought about through prayer! You can read about this and other landmark victories here. Upcoming California State Call: This Saturday is our California prayer call! I’ve shared before the significance of California to the future of the Nation. Whether you live here or not, continued intercession for this state is critical.
Please join us this Saturday at 9:30 AM PST 712-770-3969 Access code: 990117 Several of our state have Prayer Calls targeting specifically for their state. Click here for details.Blessings & love, Ricci Wilson

The Refining
"Preparing Our Dwelling Place"
Part 8B
By Ricci Wilson
During our time of intercession at the Gathering of Eagles in March of 2018, the Lord orchestrated, point by point, our repentance over the systematic destruction of the family unit. Once we completed the repentance, the Lord sent us in to begin the rebuilding process. He instructed us to consider the case of Roe v. Wade and then issue a new vote. (A staff member ordered a gavel and had it sent to the hotel prior to the meeting, so we had one in hand!) This was a God-ordained service, it was so beautiful and powerful! The Lord said, “Bring forth nine intercessors from this generation, ages 18 to 40. Bring them up and have them cast their vote on Roe v. Wade!” As the intercessors came up, the case was read, and opportunity was given for each person to vote. A unanimous “Nay!” went forth into the heavenlies and something broke in the spirit realm. The trumpets sounded and the intercessors joined in. What a celebration was felt in the heavenlies! As we obey the directives of the Lord, powerful things take place in the spirit realm. By time the sixth person was called upon to vote, my spirit was shaking with such power, I felt like I was in a machine; it was the most unusual experience. The power of what we were doing on behalf of this next generation was breaking something loose in the spirit realm! By the time we got to the sixth or the seventh person, as they came up and brought that gavel down, they were visibly experiencing the impact of what they were going through. One of the intercessors came up and asked, “Can we do this on behalf of other nations?” I felt that the Lord would be pleased for representatives of other nations to come forward.
We had one intercessor who came up to represent Canada. When we began this process, she was intensely impacted and someone had to help her to the bench. I spoke to her later and she explained that she felt she had to flee the room. Everything hurt; her mind hurt, her emotions hurt, her body hurt. She kept thinking, “If I could get to the usher, she could get me out of here, I could escape.” It was such a traumatic experience she was almost unable to cope and felt as though she would lose her mind. I spoke to her the next morning, listening as she shared that they had to not only walk her up, but put the gavel in her hand, guiding her through each step.
I observed her closely as she struck the gavel on the podium—she was beyond trembling, she was shaking almost violently. They ushered her back to her seat, and it was clear something severe was still happening within her. She has been with us for a very long time so I did not take what she was experiencing lightly. I made eye contact with Karen to have her go over and begin to pray with her. During intense intercession, we need one another to stand with us, support us, and pray for His grace to carry us through to completion.
When I spoke with her the next day, she was still visibly shaken. She shared additional details of what she experienced. It was something she’d never encountered. I knew in my heart, as a mature intercessor the Lord had allowed her to experience the trauma of a baby being ripped from the womb. I spoke to Mom about this because it was so severe and I needed the counsel and confirmation she would offer. She said, “When someone goes through that level of intercession, it is as though it is done in God’s eyes. In other words, the work is so complete in God’s eyes, it is finished.” The Lord guided us each step of the way, but it was at that moment that I truly understood that we had birthed a transition in our nation on behalf of abortion.
This was March of 2018. Consider what’s taking place right now in our country, state by state, as they create laws to protect the unborn. Why is this happening? It’s simple really—His people came, they humbled themselves, they repented, and they prayed.
To be continued next week…
Blessings & Love, Ricci
