Dear Friends and Intercessors, This week we resume our Corporate Prayer Calls! This Thursday we will have a powerful teaching on “Growing in God” with Nita Johnson and then on Friday, I (Ricci Johnson-Wilson) will deliver “Prophetic Advancement” during which time I will expound on “ The Hurricane” message released October 22, 2021. During the break, the Lord was speaking to both Nita and I, and we look forward to sharing those messages with you in the coming weeks. The last two weeks, I’ve shared written messages to honor our CedarWood and Translation teams. We appreciate them all so much! Today, I want to bring Joel’s Army to the forefront. Joe’s Army is the prayer arm of our ministry. Joel’s Army was birthed out of a vision given by the Lord to Nita Johnson over a decade ago, during which He showed her the stabilizing force that an army of intercessors will bring to the nations in the days ahead. For years, the intercessor was missing from the church, however, in times of crisis, God rectifies things. We’ve been doing our Gathering of the Eagles for 22 years, we understood prayer and the value of the intercessor. However, when the Lord instructed us to begin Joel’s Army over ten years ago, we did not realize how critical it would be to raise up intercessors across the nations who would continuously stand in the gap. We simply obeyed. Considering where we are today, we can certainly see the wisdom of the Lord’s instruction to raise up an army of intercessors who would pray year-round to ensure the enemy does not utterly devastate the nation. Joel’s Army is the barrier between the innocent and the enemy who would seek to devour them. How? By holding the line of justice and righteousness in the face of the enemy’s attempts at destruction. Every believer is called to be a person of prayer, in fact, every believer can be an intercessor. However, few are willing. It’s a difficult call but incredibly rewarding. The intercessor understands the heart of the Father and as such, longs to be with Him whenever possible. They pray for their family yes, but their intercession reaches beyond this to the city, the state and the nations. They pray for leaders many have given up on and will pray to overturn unjust laws and rulings for years until the victory is achieved. Why? Because they see these things through the eyes of the Father and will not give up until His heavenly will is released here on earth. Today, I honor those who’ve responded to the call to become a member of Joel’s Army. It’s not an easy call. The intercessor is both a warrior and a weeper, and while often misunderstood by man, holds a steady position before the Father. They repent, they war, and they face obstacles most never give a second thought. They are faithful to the call. In the past I’ve likened Joel’s Army the most difficult and rewarding online prayer school you’ll ever attend. While that is still the case, becoming part of Joel’s Army is a commission that requires a dedication to ensuring the will of the Father is released here on earth. We have Joel’s Army members throughout this country and in nations around the world. They are incredibly faithful, they look for no recognition or acknowledgment, but they are mighty warriors, precious weepers, and a stabilizing force in the earth. I want to thank each of you who joined Joel’s Army over the years, you are a treasure in the Kingdom of God. I encourage those of you who are not in Joel’s Army to seek the Lord, is it possible you too are called to walk the life of an intercessor? Part 8 B
7.22.21
Nita Johnson
Gal 5:1- "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
My dear friends, the beloved of the Lord, this yoke of slavery is speaking of the slavery to ideology or another person, particularly meaning our leaders. Do not yield to the worship of any man because all men are men. They are not Christ. We can all make mistakes. Look only to our Lord. Let the ministry encourage where they touch truth. But where truth is not flowing freely, protect your heart and love. Do not be enslaved with ideologies, another person, or our past, present, and future perceptions. If I could only tell you, if you were raised in the likes of a prison camp, God is there. It cannot overtake you. None cannot demand their victory over your right to freedom.
Our Savior, our High Priest, and our Lord is there with you in the worst of the worst. When you pray, He is there to hear. His ears are open to you. You are not a person of no value. Sometimes the trials can get so great that we think He does not hear, but He does, and He has a plan. He wants to bring you into that plan. Do not fall in weakness. Wait Him out. He knows what it is going to take. He knows what He must do. I promise you. His love for you is so great from the start of your life to the end. One day to the Lord is like a thousand to us. He knows the founding to the end of America before America ever was. He knew your beginning, and He knew your end. The wisdom of God is the healing of the Church. The grace, the mercy, the eyes that are open to the love, the love that our Christ has for His people; nothing is too big that He cannot conquer if you will only hold fast to Christ.
We must not make perceptions of past, present, or future. Our Lord, if we do not rise above them, forgive them. Forgive the people that may at any point in their lives caused the sense of oppression, then we make them Lord, instead of our Christ. We cannot yield to that because it is our loss. That is what Satan wants, but it is not God's desire. He desires to make you victorious in all things. I promise you.
In this passage, doulos means the most abject slavery, such as in the USA's past. Oh, God! I am feeling this. Oh, God! Have mercy! Have mercy! Have mercy for the brokenhearted, Lord! Let Your mercy overshadow them; overtake them. Be their strength to come out from under this slavery that Satan wants them in. Heal their hearts, Lord! Heal their minds! Heal their souls, and heal their bodies!
For Satan desires in every one of these areas, mind, heart, soul, and body, to bind you in the spirit of servitude. My heart feels so broken for your heart. Do not let him win. He comes only to kill, to steal, and to destroy. But walking in the love of God will make you victor over all things. His grace is able to help you arise and put the past in the past. For some of you, it is present; it is not past; it is what you are dealing with presently.
Dear, dear friend, beloved of the Lord, do not forget who your real love is. Do not forget. Do not forget the One that can deliver you; deliver you from the bondage of the servitude. Even in servitude, you can walk above it in the spirit and the life of Christ. I promise you it is true. It is so true. Arise! Say, "No," to the enemy that wants to keep you bound in the servitude of the torments, of the anguish, or the present sense of slavery. Jesus is your Lord and King. He is here to give you hope, to give you liberty, to give you strength to walk in it, to give you grace to see it, to see the hope in Christ.
Please, for a moment, turn over to Romans 13:12- The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
I am sorry. I am under such a strong presence tonight because He really wants to liberate you from something. I want to encourage you to let Him do it. Do not pay attention to me; pay attention to the Spirit of the Lord that is flowing here tonight. Paul says, "The night is far spent, the day is at hand." What day? The day of liberation. The day the transformation begins to happen in a way you begged for your entire time in Christ. Let Him have His way. Ask Him, "What is it that I must release for the preparation of the day of liberty?" Then, give it to Him.
The day is at hand. Let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness. Let us put on the armor of light. My dear friends, the armor of light? The armor of light? You have no idea what that means because the armor, the shield, is not like the armor the Roman army used to wear. This armor is living because it is Christ. Because it is living, it has the power to protect you, direct you, and uphold you day by day. It is different than any armor you have ever seen.

- We provide weekend meals for 280 children weekly. Child Sponsorship - $34.99 per month provides essential nutrition to a child in need
- Shoes

- Sleeping bags for the homeless
- Volunteers
- Diapers (Size 3 & up) & baby wipes
- Baby Food & Formula
- $5-$20 Gift cards for Gas for our volunteers who transport the food to and from the Pantry
Most donations can be dropped off during the Pantry or mailed into our office. Tax deductible receipts provided.
Coats & Clothes Closet:
Open Mondays and by appointment. We need volunteers to help organize and prepare clothing for visitors
The need is great and our numbers are increasing every week. Please pray that our volunteer base will increase as well!
