| Dear Friends and Intercessors!
Mom and I pray you used the time last week to seek the Lord, spend extra time with family, and get some rest. We’ve been on the front lines for two solid years, and you’ve been right alongside us in this fight! We knew the importance of taking this time after so many back-to-back emergency Gatherings was important for us all.
Giving Records:
I want to briefly touch on the giving receipts that are emailed each month. The software we use to compile the data from the various sources of donations we receive in the ministry had a mid-year update. There is a glitch within the software that is preventing the conversion of the actual record to a printable PDF. If you opened the PDF sent to you, you likely saw that it was blank. We are working with the company to troubleshoot this glitch and ask for your patience in the process.
This is not an online program, it’s software on a secure hard drive on our premises, so this is not a security breach, nor are we at risk of that, it simply cannot complete the merger function necessary from the data record to a PDF.
Your records are secure and still intact within our program. It may take us a few days to resolve this, and the company may need to release another update to restore this feature, but we will send you your giving record asap. Thank you for your patience while this issue is resolved.
Weekly Teaching and Prayer Calls Resume this week:
This week, we are back to the fight and will once again, pray regarding what’s occurring Russia and Ukraine. This will ultimately impact future conflicts so it’s important we resolve it in prayer. We will have our regular calls Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week.
We love and bless you and look forward to praying with you this week!

________________________________________________ Growing In God (Union) Part 10 Section A Psalm 63 By Nita Johnson 8.5.21
I want to thank all of you who chose to spend this time with us, reading or listening to the teachings. In seeking the Lord for you, He quickened a favorite Psalm for me to share with you. I want to speak concerning the things listed in this passage. I pray that this Psalm will touch your heart, as it so often touches mine. Please turn in your Bibles to Psalm 63:1-8 KJV.
Oh God. Thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to seed thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: when I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou has been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.I spent years weeping every time I read this Psalm. My heart was hungry for God. Each time I read it, it was like pouring the intense things in my soul before the Lord. I longed to behold Him. I yearned for Him and to please Him, to satisfy Him in my obedience. I could not say it enough for my heart to release those earnest longings deeply for Him to be able to hear, know, and perceive the depths from which my cries were coming.
I have been with Him for over 40 years. He has given me an understanding of His ways, His Kingdom and sought to reveal Himself and the life of Christ to me. These revelations came, not as a teacher of the Word might give them, but through experiences. Jesus spoke to me as a prophet who cried out for Him day and night, that I might understand experientially the things I was being taught straight from the heart and mind of God.
Oh, how I want Him. The comfort or discomfort of my outward circumstances has little bearing on my hunger. I want Christ! However He would choose to open Himself to me to satisfy my longing, whatever it might take, I will walk with Him. Of course, He knows me better than I know myself. If I have to go through things to enable me to understand and/or relate to Him better, I have to. No matter how tough it is, I never let any trial steal His place in my heart. No problem is more significant than He, and no longing could make a difference outside Him. He is all and in all!
He has taken me to many levels of understanding and knowing Him. As He allows me to understand the more extraordinary things of Himself, it causes me to love and desire Him in a more excellent way. Think about this. What if the Lord suddenly decided to turn off the fountain of divine revelation from the peoples of the earth to those saved and unsaved for reasons we could not understand? What would life be?
I have no words to describe the anguish of learning this lesson. The Lord took me to hell many times. I could care less ever having to go there again. It is horrible. However, on this particular trip, He escorted me to a place called “The Place of Darkness.” It was so dark that you could not see your nose in front of your face. The horrors that were in that place were terrible. It would shock you every few minutes into greater and greater fear. You knew that you would run if the light turned on and you could see what they looked like. After a few minutes of this kind of darkness and horrors, it was more than I could take.
Suddenly, I realized Jesus had left me alone in this place. I was terrified! As evil spirits sought to haunt and terrify me even more, I started to run. I thought, What if I never get to hear His voice or see His face again? I have to find an escape from this place and be with my Savior. I started screaming out His name, pleading for His deliverance. There was never a doubt that if I was here, I must deserve it; that was not the point. The point was that eternity without Him was unbearable. I cried, wept, pleaded, begged, and did not care who heard me. I wanted Him to return. Finally, when He knew that I had reached the limit of my endurance, He came and ushered me out of that terrible place.
To be continued next week… In Him, Nita |
