I have some calendar updates for you including this week’s schedule, our Purim PHONE Gathering and our Pentecost IN-PERSON Gathering!
This week’s schedule: we will not have prayer calls this week as our team is preparing for our Purim Gathering.
The Purim Gathering is March 7-10, 2023. This is a very important Gathering as we will tackle issues on God’s heart, issues that keep our nation vulnerable to economic collapse.
The Purim Gathering is a timely prayer Gathering and our objective is to embrace and further God’s plans while reversing man’s.
Just as I shared last week, when the feast of Purim was instituted, it was a direct result of reversing the enemy’s plan to destroy the Jewish communities living within the Persian Empire. However, I cannot help but continue to reflect on these events and the deep-seated hatred of Haman toward Mordecai (Esther’s cousin). His determination to bring about this genocide to destroy the people of God regardless of the ramifications to the Persian Empire continues to astound me.
I must ask myself: was Haman’s hatred so intense that it blinded him to the social and economic devastation this would bring the Empire? Did he even care?
We know the king was no friend to the Jewish people, but did he even consider the impact of this decision? Israelites were not new additions to these communities; they’d been in place for decades at this point of their captivity. In fact, in some regions, they were rooted two-three generations deep.
How’d they get there?
As often occurs in war, when one country captures another, they seek to control the citizens by stripping them of their land, culture, heritage, and most importantly their religion. Divide and conquer, or more aptly stated: divide TO conquer. This process began in the Northern Kingdom by the Assyrians, then the Babylonians captured the Assyrians (during which time the Southern Kingdom was also captured). Finally, the Medes and the Persians conquered the areas once held by the Babylonians. As was prophesied by Jeremiah and Daniel.
The Assyrians and Babylonians were barbaric, often incredibly violent, and exceptionally cruel in their conquests. Life during this time became a deep struggle for survival. The Persians, however, were more civilized and focused on arts, infrastructure, and architecture which allowed for greater liberties by those living within the Empire. As such, the Jewish citizens integrated more completely into the social and economic structure of the Persian Empire forming their own communities within the cities they lived.
It was such a shock when Ahasuerus’ Decree went forth, one historian said: entire communities were thrust into confusion. Why? Because communities were deeply integrated, by this point, two to three generations of Israelites were living beside Persians throughout the 127 provinces. And, as history has shown, the Israelites have a history of multiplying under great duress so by now, millions were living in these regions making up nearly 20 percent of the population.
Fast forward to today, and despite the 2500 years separating our time periods, I personally see Haman’s activities eerily like those of the Elite. Haman and the Elite have the same hatred for the people of God, and we often witness their efforts to oppress and destroy the population through abortion and human trafficking whenever possible. Then, they divide to conquer. They are willing to separate us by any means possible, even making up a few categories to further divide us, and as we know, they’ve been quite successful over the last several years. They don’t care about the people or the economy, in fact, to devastate America’s economy would impact every nation in the world thereby ridding nations of what the Elite refer to as “the useless eaters” escalating their agenda.
Seems overwhelming when you consider it, but remember, the Elite planned to have this accomplished by 2012 and God intervened!
Why? Because His people, called by His Name, humbled themselves and prayed! (2 Corinthians 7:14)
We are in this world, but we are not of this world. Let us not be so immersed in our culture that we fail to see what the enemy has planned and miss our opportunity to thwart those plans through prayer. Our goal is to pave the way for the Awakening to spread across our nation.
This is where you, the intercessors, descend on the plans of the enemy through prayer! We receive prayer points from the Lord, targeted issues which are heavy on His heart, we repent, we intercede, and we release the decrees against the plans of the enemy and reverse them!
Our objective, and yours should you choose to accept this call, is to comfort the heart of God and reverse the plan of the enemy!
It all seems unbelievable when you consider how close Haman was to succeeding. Yet, God raised up Mordecai and Esther, for such a time as this and because they accepted, He heard their prayers and reversed the plans of the enemy!
