| Dear Friends and Intercessors, In this season of thankfulness, we wanted to reach out to you to thank YOU for being a part of our ministry. Often you pray for or give to this ministry in one area or another or if you cannot decide, you select “general” so your gift can go where it is most needed. This week, I wanted to share a bigger picture of our ministry so you can understand a little more about the specific area as well as see the big picture of where your prayers and/or donations targeting the “general area of need” might look like. In 2024… because of you… - We were able have more Gatherings than ever before to help get our nation across the finish line in such a critical time in history!
- 10s of 1000s of dollars’ worth of books and teaching material was sent out to strengthen, encourage, and develop people in the truth of God’s Word FREE of charge. This included…
- o Countless books in four languages which went all over the world.
- o Untold audio, CDs, and MP3 went out over the world.
- We were able to take Joel’s Army into several Asian, European, and African nations, holding prayer events even in rural areas where people learned how to pray for their nations. During these trips, many get saved, and baptized! We even made our way into Middle Eastern nations to raise up intercessors who will be a stabilizing force in a very unstable region.
Because of you… As of December 2, 2024, the CedarWood Arm of our Ministry reached into the community and accomplished the following great feats: - CW Pantry served: 6,082 families. This means, the combined Family Members who were fed groceries to last them a week—or more—amounted to: 21,305 persons
- CW Homeless Outreach Served - 6,294 meals
- CW Backpack Kids Weekend Meal Kits Assembled in 2024 - 1,958 kits
- We are currently serving 65 elementary school age children and 7 low-income senior citizens every week during the school year. Total 72 meal kits per week.
- Kits contain 1 protein (e.g. canned tuna or chicken), 2 oatmeal, 2 canned entrees, 1 canned vegetable, 1 box mac n cheese or top ramen, 2 fruit cups, and 4 or more kid-friendly snacks.
- CW Back to School event: 110 children received 3 sets each of new socks & undies, plus a backpack and/or a variety of school supplies to start the new year off right.
- CW Holiday Meal: 270 personally distributed Thanksgiving meal kits (A turkey or gift card equivalent, and sides) through CedarWood AND 40 additional turkeys shared with Annie's Community Kitchen for their meal program. So, a total: 310 Turkeys were handed out!
- CW Christmas Gift Distribution: 113 children are currently registered to receive new toys/gifts. Registration will continue through December 16th.
- Below is the accumulative stats chart (as of 12/2/24) with a few more details, such as coats & shoes which were distributed via our CW Coats and Clothes Closet as well as those handed out in our CW Homeless Outreach.

This only touches the surface of what this department does on a practical level each year. - Our CW Homeless Outreach also provides sleeping bags, tarps, hats, gloves, socks, and clothing to those living in the harsh winter conditions of the Pacific Northwest.
- Our teams minister the love and saving grace of our Lord throughout their ministry time. They serve them, love them, pray for them, and work to connect them to local churches and social services wherever possible.
- Our CW Men’s Group fosters relationships with the men who come to the Pantry along with our volunteers and staff with a Men’s Bible Study and mentorship program to help strengthen the men as head of the household. We believe in the importance of serving spiritual and physical needs to build stronger families within the community.
- When we have a new hire, we’ve sought to hire within our CW Volunteer or Client base to once again, help build a stronger community right here at home.
Missions:Because of you, the missionary work we do provides support to many pastors of small or rural churches right here in the United States. Because of you, we can extend our reach into missionaries abroad, such as… - Orphanages in Africa and India where hundreds are clothed, fed and taught the Word of God.
- A widow’s ministry in India where those left destitute can find new beginnings working with orphaned children.
- Missionaries in Israel who minister Israelis who are moving to Israel as well as ministry outreaches to the Sons of Abraham. This stretches deep into the communities on a personal level and the fruit of this has been profound.
- Financial support to those working to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking.
All of this is made possible because throughout 2024, you stood with us in prayer and/or by financially supporting these efforts so that together, we can continue to reach into the lives of communities from as close as our own backyard to as far away as Africa! Thank you for being so faithful even in times of great difficulty!! We are excited to see what 2025 will bring! Blessings & love, Ricci on behalf of Nita Johnson and our entire WFJM/JA/CW team!
