Dear Friends:
Greetings, in the beloved name of our
Lord, Jesus Christ. I trust that your fall holiday season has been and
will be wonderful in Jesus. As you may already know, we as a ministry do
not celebrate Christmas, instead we observe the Biblical Festivals.
Nevertheless, we bless those who choose to celebrate other holidays,
secular or otherwise, knowing that what you do, you do unto the lord.
We also want you to know that we deeply
appreciate your prayer and financial support. Needless to say, we could
not have accomplished all Jesus has asked us to do this year without
those two things. We have held multiple Gathering Of the Eagles, which
have borne excellent fruit and are working toward saving America. Our
prayer services are working towards this same goal, and can be joined
through streaming.
We are also raising up our Joel's Army.
We are now in well over twenty countries. Prayer Cell groups are rising
up in so many nations, so quickly it seems incomprehensible to me. These
groups will be used to help keep the nations of the world stable in the
near future, when the economic crash happens. The vision the Lord has
given me many times has reflected this unfortunate event transpiring in
the near future. Also, we have the CedarWood ministry which, in its
entirety, is a ministry to the poor. It currently has five branches and
will soon have seven.
One of the branches is a food pantry.
While at the pantry this morning, one of my colleagues came to me to
show me a picture of a Chinese woman putting on a nice coat and scarf
from our Coats and Clothes store. She was crying tears of joy as she
knew that this would allow her to stay warm for the rest of the winter.
We also just purchased more coats and shoes to put on the cold little
bodies of the local school children who had nowhere else to turn for
such things. These items will be in their hands for Christmas. Many of
you also helped this effort by donating items such as these. Families
who would have otherwise gone hungry will eat a Christmas dinner, and
children are getting dietary needs met because people like you care.
Thanks so much!!!
I do have a special request of you this
holiday season. I have been receiving visions of a need to enlarge our
pantry as soon as possible. Unfortunately, expansion is impossible in
our current location. We need to find a place that can handle the need
in the near future. The Lord has put priority on this move. We don’t
only need to find a larger place, but purchase freezers, refrigerators
and food with which to fill it. We also are in desperate need of higher
level staff members and volunteers. Needless to say, this will all take
quite a bit of money. We would like to give you an opportunity to give
to this endeavor. The Bible says that those who give to the poor lend to
the Lord. I know there are many of you who understand this principle
and even some who could give sizable gifts, and that in believing in a
God who takes care of His people, will make the effort to help those in
need.
This new center will provide groceries for
the needy to take home, a lunch counter to minister to those who have
been forced out to the streets to live, a Coats and Clothes Closet to
provide clothes, and a place to prepare pack-packs full of food for kids
in the local school system that would otherwise go hungry. We do all
this now, but have simply run out of room. While several other food
banks have closed in our area, the Lord is helping us thrive, and we are
all incredibly thankful for that.
Please prayerfully consider gifts large
and small to help us make this vital move. We thank you in advance. We
bless your spirit of generosity for those who are so needy it would melt
your heart if you could see it.
A sister contributed $10,000 to be set up
as a matching grant to be used where the need is greatest. CedarWood has
the greatest need at this time and we welcome you to join in meeting
the needs of those less fortunate. If you would like to contribute to
this matching grant, please indicate “CW Matching Grant” in the memo
portion of your check. You can also donate through the “catalog” page of
our website. [Link]
If the Lord leads you to end this year
contributing to any of the other outreaches within World for Jesus
Ministries, i.e. Gatherings or Joel’s Army, or any of our mission
outreaches, you can do this by check or through the catalog page of our
website. We appreciate your heart, sacrifice, and desire to partner with
us as we further the Kingdom of God!
We love you in Christ!
