With this wisdom under your belt, you can be at peace knowing the Lord is answering our prayers for a new and better America.

Just four weeks from today, we will begin our Seattle Gathering of the Eagles! Wow, how quickly time passed since we announced that we will have our first in-person Gathering since January of 2020!
Friends, our time at this Gathering will both minimize what the enemy has planned and release that which God has planned for our nation. Why? Because God partners with His people to bring His plans and purposes into the earth.
Let me provide a brief, yet powerful example of the impact of intercession as pertains to thwarting the enemy’s plan to bring about destruction.
Rees Howell, an intercessor stationed by God in Wales during WWII, kept the vile and murderous Nazi regime from entering their shores through intercession. Rees never gave up. Through his life of prayer, he learned that it was in the testing of our faith that we learn that God really is who is says He is. Rees said, “we need experiential knowledge of God because theories are impossible to lean on in dark days.”
Rees saw many difficult days in his life and ministry, yet it was through his life of intercession on both the great and the small things, that he learned how to seek God in preparation for the greatest battle of his lifetime. It was in the darkest of days when the Nazi regime came to full power and plowed through nation after nation that Rees pursued the face of God night and day to thwart the enemy’s plan to overtake their nation. The surrounding nations were invaded, but in response to the intercession of this faithful intercessor, God surrounded Wales and kept Hitler and his Nazi regime off their shores. What a miracle this was!!
This is the call of the Gatherings, to engage in intercession that thwarts the plan of the enemy to swallow up Nations. We pray for national stability amidst the shaking. In short, we stand in the gap.
May 23, we will come together and do just that, stand in the gap for our nation!
