Subject: Reminder! Chanukah Gathering of the Eagles continues tonight!

Dear Friends and Intercessors,

We want to remind you our Chanukah Gathering of the Eagles continues tonight and tomorrow. December 2 & 3, 2021!

The repentance, intercession and warfare accomplished this week will appease the heart of the Father and diminish the intensity the enemy has planned.

This is Chanukah, let us align ourselves with our Lord, linking our faith with His divine will, and take our nation back, dedicating our land once again, to our Lord and Savior and the release of His Gospel throughout the earth!

Join us tonight and tomorrow as we stand in the gap for our nation!

See you then!

Blessings & love,

Ricci Johnson-Wilson on behalf of Nita Johnson and the entire WFJM/JA/CW Team

Four Steps In Union Eph 4

Part C

7.15.21
Nita Johnson

From last week: In the Greek, the five-fold ministry is really the four-fold ministry. Pastors and teachers are considered the same, but I will use the term five-fold ministry for the sake of understanding as the body would understand it today.

He gave the five-fold ministry, the building up of His Church to care for you, teach, train, and equip you. God did not put the five-fold ministry on this earth for you to worship; for you to look at as one greater than you ought. There are well-known, powerful ministers that speak in mega-churches that have massive congregations that worship them. The amount of damage to people's souls, even to the loss of their salvation, is incredible because Satan caused a minister to fall due to sin. The pastor sinned for allowing that kind of worship. Further, the church, not knowing their wrongdoing, was nevertheless wrong in worshipping a leader. It does not matter that the leader is the head of a mammoth church.

I want to say something more about that in just one minute.

I am seeing a vision right now. It does not matter whether the group is a tiny church of 50 members, 150 members, or even a Bible study. When I accepted Christ, I saw a Bible study of adults grow from 150 to 500 people in a matter of months because the teacher taught the doctrines of the Word of Faith movement. But the people who attended did not attend only for the message, they attended because of the speaker. They idolized him, and how wrong it was for this gentleman to allow it. Of course, he did not know he was wrong because that is typically not questioned today. But, it must be because it costs too many lives when it runs amok. Our faith must be in Christ alone.

One of the significant reasons this idolatry leads so many astray is because it puts its worth in a man and a ministry building. If a church grows incredibly large, people think indeed God sent this man. So, the worship flows upon the church building, and the church becomes the focus instead of Christ. And any time, a person, a place, or a thing is put in place of Christ. It will not turn out well because there is only one Son of God. Only One. Any man desiring worship is in the wrong place, and any man that wants to worship another is in the wrong place. If you try to set the embodiment of the church in their head, as being the holy place of God, the Holy of Holies of God, the embodiment of that in the earth, it is sin, and it is corruption. As it is not only allowed but encouraged, the corruption only grows. It cannot help but grow. Our only hope to go where Paul points the finger to go is to keep our eyes on Christ and Christ alone.

Now he says here in verse 15,

"Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into..."

Who? Him! Not the pastor, not the Sunday school teacher, not the church building. You saw that great building in Southern California for many years called Crystal Cathedral. Christians stood amazed and aghast at this building. Where is it today? The church is gone, and I think that is the kindest thing He could do because it is not about the building. It is not about our power. It is not about the powerful man or woman of God. It is about Christ and Christ alone. He who is truth.

The reason I share this with you is because we are talking about high and holy things. My brothers and sisters, we cannot take the world into the high and holy place where God is calling us. We will not make it walking around with a massive bag of burdens on our shoulders, and we are trying to walk into a tiny little cave where you go to find the wisdom of the ages. It does not fit. You will never reach the place you are heading if you try to take the world with you.

Verse 21 "So assuming that you have really heard Him," The idea here is not that you did not hear about Him. The idea here is assuming that you have really heard Him and been taught by Him, "As [all] truth as in Jesus [embodied and personified in Him]."

Now assuming that this is true, we have a course of action to go.

Verse 22 says, "Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off in discard your own unrenewed self]." Now many interpret that to become less sinful. That is not what He is saying here. He means crucify the old man on the cross, a cross designed for the person desiring union. "Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion." Paul is telling us to take off our sinful nature, which means a crucifixion must take place. It is step one. How are you going to go very deep into step two if you have not finished step one?

Now I went through a horrific cross in 2018. That was my cross upon which God truly crucified me. Jesus appeared to me and talked to me at length about it. He did what He did by scriptural foundation. In every human being, He must strip off the old man, the sinful nature. He has to eradicate it if you want the next step. And this is the second step upon your entrance into union, "Be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude]. This Scripture is vital for the person who wants to go into union. The Word renews your mind; it must renew it. It is not a once for all deal. I learned that what I thought was one step into the heights of God turns out to be an initial step that puts you on a spiritual stairwell going ever higher. One level after another, upon another, and yet upon another, and we know not how many until you are in complete union. In this process, your mind must be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind having a fresh, mental, and spiritual attitude. And by doing this, putting on the new nature the regenerate self, created in God's image, God-like in true righteousness and holiness, that is union. He took me through the cross in 2018, and in the beginning of 2019, He gave me union (verse 24).

To be continued next week
In Him,
Nita Johnson
