Subject: Knowledge of the Holy One Part C by Nita Johnson

This Week's Events:
Dear friends,

Corporate Intercession is essential for the days ahead. We provide for the physical needs of children and families through our CedarWood Int'l, but we must not forget the need our Nation has for intensive intercession. We can feed and clothe, but if we are to see true victory, we must break through the bonds that the elite have in place over this Nation. God has a plan for this Nation. He hasn’t forgotten us, nor has He given up on His plans to birth revival into our land. As the prayer points given to Nita by our Lord increase, we must not get discouraged but rather, we must rise up to the call of intercession that God placed on our lives.

A life of intercession and servitude reigns in this ministry. We fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. It is our heart and our passion and we will press through to victory my friends! It is critical to sustaining the people of God. The enemy of our soul seeks to destroy and we refuse to give in! Join us as we pray for this Nation each week, your participation is so critical in this hour. We are on the brink of a major breakthrough and it is through joining together of intercessors all over the world that will usher us through unto victory! Will you separate yourself my friends -- for one, two or all four weekly prayer session and fall on your face in order to pray with us for the issues that God has placed on our hearts in this hour? You will never regret the sacrifice of your time. Every moment you spend and every tear that you shed will be honored by our Lord and Savior. The times are listed to the right, please mark your calendar and join us this week! Our time together over the next several weeks will pave the way as we head to our Washington DC for the DC Gathering of the Eagles, 2014! (See the details to the right) Prayerfully consider joining us as we fight for this Nation!

The Knowledge of the Holy One

Part C

By

Nita Johnson

From our Seattle Services

About twenty years ago, I traveled around, sharing the message that had been given to me by angels, the Lord and the Father. All of that is in my book, Prepare for the Winds of Change. I traveled from Church to Church and in every place that I went, the Churches were filled to peak capacity including overflow rooms. Everyone wanted to hear what the angels had said. They were so excited that this prophet came to their Church to tell them what the angels spoke. Indeed, it is exciting to hear the Word of the Lord given by angels or by Jesus, Himself coming in person to tell you.

Later that year, I got back in touch with the pastors. I asked them, “How is your Church doing? How are the people doing who came to hear the message?” They would say, “Not so good, Nita. It seems like the excitement and the thrill of it all disappeared pretty quickly. Soon, life was back to normal. Only one thing was different.” I asked, “What was different?” The pastors said, “Because they had heard the Word of the Lord through the prophet, they felt and convinced themselves that they had already attained. Since they had already attained, what more was there to attain?” In every place that I had gone, that was the end result for most who had attended.

Please understand that I am not pointing the finger. I do not want you to fall into the trap of convincing yourself that you are further along than you are. I want you to know that it is a common malady, as common as the flu. You think that this has got to be it, but it is not. The more mature you become, the more you begin to realize it is not about how much you have apprehended, but about how much you still lack. When that happens, you are getting to a safe place. I am telling you the truth. Because when you start thinking about and measuring your walk by what you do not have, then you will not be so easily led away by a deception. You will humble yourself and seek God’s face to change what needs to be changed so that you can go where you want to go.

Just before He gives me really great revelations, He will take me into a time and season where I feel like I am not even saved. That is a purging and a self-emptying. Come with me over to the book of Philippians.

Philippians 2:4 Amp. Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

We can be so self-satisfied because we are wrapped up in self-aggrandizement. We can deceive ourselves because we are wrapped up in the glory of self. We make sure we take care of our interests, but we do not make sure that we take care of someone else's interests. We are all guilty of that from time to time, right? There is no shame. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. We all do it wrong. You cannot hold shame close to your bosom and still grow in Christ. You must look at what you need to examine, grab hold of His grace and mercy for change, then refuse to move back into self-deception.

Philippians 2:5 Amp. Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]

This verse in Philippians helps us to understand the difference between knowing about God, verses actually knowing God. Let Him be your example in humility. When you have gone down into the dirt as far as you can go, you still have not met the humility of Christ. You can be rubbing your face in the mud, saying, “Mea culpa, mea culpa (my fault),” but you still have not touched His humility. You can go into His throne room repeatedly saying, “I am unworthy.” Still, you have not touched His humility. When you touch the humility of Christ, you become unaware of yourself or your needs. You are no longer aware of the things of the world because your heart is set exclusively upon Him. Your heart is so fastened onto Him that everything inside of you lives only to please Jesus. You are not concerned about whether this or that person accepts you or whether life is treating you as fairly as you think it ought Those thoughts are gone. When you have touched His humility, the only thing you see is the beauty of the Savior and the lowliness of our Lord.

Philippians 2:6 Amp. Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.

Before the Lord took me through one of the worst seasons in my life, I used to think that I deserved union. It was not something that I would meditate on or build myself up in, but it was something that I came to realize, from time to time, with great sadness. When I start thinking that I deserve union, I have lost it. Am I going to be different than my Lord? If that was His mind as described in Philippians 2:6, then it should be mine as well. If it is not my mind, I am losing union even while I am fighting for it, unless I repent. The truth is that none of us can ever become good enough to deserve union. How do you like that? When we, like Paul, come to realize that we are the least of all the Apostles, not deserving of the glory we seek, then the appraisal of proper humility is growing in our soul.

Philippians 2:6b Amp. ...did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained.

There must be a complete annihilation of the sinful nature before His new life can fill your whole being. That does not mean you are not saved if your sin nature is not completely annihilated. Here I am talking about union with Christ. We are called to follow after the patriarchs of our faith, like Elijah, John the Beloved, John the Baptist, Moses, and Enoch, all of whom walked in union with Jesus. To walk in union requires great grace. It will never happen because you are so righteous. Neither will it happen because of anything you are or do yourself. Nevertheless, you must double-yoke yourself with Christ in the process. That means that He says and you do. He says and you do. In your doing, He will chip away those things that offend Him, if you are a person of prayer and the Word.

When you want rebellion against His commandments more than you want God, you have already lost what He would have given you. He is going to give you hard things to do and bear, and He is going to do this out of His goodness, kindness and love. If you could obtain union in yourself, you would not need the Lord. It is at every juncture where we fail that we come to see how greatly we need Jesus. We begin to pull on His grace, like Mary did, holding Him tight and never letting Him go. You come to understand that these things inside of you really do love the world and its ways, and really do not want to be disciplined. They really do not want to be corrected, rooted up or removed from the soil where they grow. They like that corruption a lot. So you must have a will that is stronger than the will of your lower nature. It may take me awhile, Lord to reach the place where I want to go with You, but I won’t quit trying until I get into the promise, wholly and completely.

Do not allow yourself excuses for failure. If Satan can steer you off in the wrong direction with that one thing, he does not need to work on anything else. He will just keep moving you to sit still and feel sorry for yourself for failing. It becomes a miserable life. Go into the Word. Repent when you have failed and receive His cleansing. Hold fast to His righteousness, thanking and praising Him. Let Him know all the time how thankful you are that He is willing to cover and cleanse you with His blood.

You must come to a place where you are telling Him dozens of times every day, “I want to know You. Please reveal Yourself to me. I want to know You. I want to be owned by You.” Tell Him these things, and keep saying it until your heart agrees with you. Once you come into that agreement between your mind and your heart, the road will become much easier.

Philippians 2:7a Amp. But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity]....

Are you willing to do that? I have personally met two people who did that, and they entered into union. I have a friend who is in the ministry who knows another individual. So that is three of whom I know. That is it. It is not because there could not be hundreds of thousands. God wants it for everyone, but we do not really want to let go of the world. We do not want to be stripped of all privileges and rightful dignity. I am not trying to make you feel bad about yourself. You just have to look at these things because we need His grace to overcome, right?

Philippians 2:7 Amp. But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.

To be continued next week...

In His Amazing Love,
Nita Johnson
