Dear Friends,
We want to invite you to join us tonight for our prayer vigil for the Nation. This is directed by the Lord for this season of time to thwart the plans of the enemy for our nation. This is an intensive season, but God will give us the grace to endure.
This morning, the Lord reminded me of an invitation letter I sent out in January of 2018 about Joel’s Army. I shared in that letter, that Joel’s Army is the most intensive online intercessory training school you will ever attend. This statement has never been truer than this year, the year of shaking.
Friends, as we head into election season, the enemy will work to create a storm in the nation and interfere with God’s plans for this country. Let me be clear, we will thwart the severity of the enemy’s plans through our intercession. However, to do so requires the people of God to be like Moses and turn into the storm rather than run or hide. Yes, we must do so even as the people around us cry out in fear like those at the base of Mount Sinai. (see Exodus chapters 19 and 24)
The enemy does plan to try and stir things up in order to bring about a storm that will distract the people of God. However, like Moses, intercessors are called to turn into the storm and be caught up in God.
What does that mean?
When the enemy stirs up strife, doubt, chaos, or fear in order to interfere with our intercession, we must resist and press through in prayer. When we come down from the mountain, we are to be the vessels of truth, peace, and stability for those engrossed, or simply lost, in the chaos.
Why and how do we pray?
We have 83 days until the election. This must be 83 days of faithful prayer. We will be repenting over the points listed below in our corporate prayer calls. We encourage you to join us and include prayer over each element of the 2020 election in your personal prayer time—from the school board to the presidency. Every seat is important.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Identificational repentance, intercession and warfare are the keys to us witnessing the fulfillment of 2 Chronicles 7:14. If you are unfamiliar with this type of intercession, there is no better time than now to learn.
What will our new schedule look like?
The Lord has asked us to spend the next four weeks pressing in corporately that we might thwart the enemy’s plans!
Every Thursday and Friday for the next four weeks, we will extend our prayer time repenting and praying over the issues listed on pages 148-152 of Nita Johnson’s book “Prepare for the Winds of Change ll.” These are open doors for the enemy. Remember, the enemy has a storm planned to create chaos, we are moving into the offensive to thwart that chaos. I encourage you to use this list in your personal prayer time as well.

- Despising God’s Law/lawlessness
- Slavery of Human Trafficking
- Abortion
- Greed
- Unjust judicial system (throughout the nation)
- Abominable sexual practices
- Persecution of saints
- Idolatry
- Forsaking the needy
- Murder
- Prosperous Ease
- Downfall of the Catholic Church

This is a fight for the last remaining light in the earth to remain. We are so close to seeing the fulfillment of God’s promises, let us not grow weary or give up now!
