Dear Friends,
This morning while in prayer, I had a vision of a United States map. The Lion of Judah came up and stood just off the west coast. He took one stepped forward, and a dark scroll rolled up from the west all the way to the east coast and then it was taken up. The Lion breathed across the land. His breath was golden and it rolled across the land in waves. The vision ended.
The Lord told me the dark scroll was the corruption over our nation and through our repentance, He is lifting it off our land. In its place, His breath is pouring out and bringing forth life.
We are making tremendous headway in our time together!
Tonight, we will come together to repent for breaking the 9th Commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."
Breaking this command is at the root of prejudice, misunderstandings, divisions, and so much more. Engaging in slander, liable, false accusations by spreading or believing untruths about others is encompassed in this command. We can see this rise up in Pharaoh when he sought to oppress the Hebrew children. (Exodus 1-2) We saw this among the chief priests and elders of the people when they sought to crucify our Lord. (Matthew 26) And, we see this throughout the book of Acts as leaders brought false witnesses to testify against the Apostles, often leading to martyrdom.
How have we as a people, a state, a nation broken this command? How has it brought division between the races, the classes, and the children of God? How has it impacted national leaders? Why has the media been successful in their efforts to create greater division in our Nation?
Alas, there is much to be repented for...
Join us tonight as we repent for bearing (speaking and/or receiving and believing) false witness against our neighbor.
Our Lord gave us a precious guide that would enable us to be an house of prayer and a dwelling place for Him as He took the whole of the Law and encompassed it in His Sermon on the Mount. (Matthew 5-7) He then simplified it further with this passage at the end of His ministry, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:37-39)
Remember: you have God-given authority in your state and nation, our prayer is that we'd have someone from each state on the line to pray during this important period before Pentecost. Come and pray with us tonight!
We will open the line from 6-7 PM PST (worship music will begin at 5:45 PM) to come in and repent for your city, state and country.
Our desire is to comfort the heart of God with our repentance and intercession and await His visitation as we head up to Pentecost.
See you tonight!
Blessings & love to you! Ricci Wilson
