Dear Friends,
Thank you for joining us for our 10 Days to Pentecost. This morning in prayer, the Lord impressed upon me His great pleasure over our time together these past 5 days.
Then, as if in stark contrast to that pleasure, He reminded me of a dream I had regarding the 2020 election just prior to the Portland Gathering of the Eagles in January. This dream was a strong warning to us IF we do not remain prayerful this year. In the dream we'd lost the election; the darkness that permeated the sky was unprecedented, it was demonic. It spanned the entire nation and crept across the earth from here. This was such a weighty darkness, it's difficult to even explain.
We are called to be a nation of Light unto all the earth!
I share this with you now, as we are half-way through our "10 Days to Pentecost." We've transitioned from the relationship to our God to our relationship to our fellow man..."our neighbor and ourselves"
Remember in Matthew 5-7, our Lord took the whole of the Law and encompassed it, then in His mercy, He simplified it with this passage at the end of His ministry, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:37-39)
He gave us a precious guide that would enable us to be an house of prayer and a dwelling place for Him.
As we've walked through the 10 Commandments in personal and state repentance, something is taking place in the heart and mind of those joining us. I cannot fully explain what I'm seeing simply because it's in process, but the Lord is depositing something within us, it's powerful, it's deep, and it will enable us to push this nation across the finish line. Why? Because we are comforting His heart and preparing for His Glory.
Tonight, we will continue our preparation for Pentecost by repenting of breaking the 6th Commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill" Exodus 20:13 When we do anything hurtful to the life of our own body, or any other's, we are violating this commandment. Jesus expounded on this in Matthew 5:22, as He told the people on the Mount that we are in danger of violating this law (and receiving the judgment that comes with it) when we are angry with our brother, carry offense in our heart toward our brother, diminish or demean our brother, and cause them to feel "less than" for any reason whatsoever. I will go one step further and add that when Jesus instructed us to show mercy, love our enemy, serve our neighbor, give to our neighbor and so on, He was teaching us how to give life to our fellow man. As a child of God, anything that opposes this is taking life from our neighbor and ourselves. There is much to be repented for isn't there...
I encourage you to read Matthew chapters 5-7 and ask the Lord to show you how you, your city, or your state have violated the Commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill" and join us tonight as we continue our repentance before God in our "10 Days to Pentecost."
We will open the line from 6-7 PM PST (worship music will begin at 5:45 PM) to come in and repent for your city, state and country.
You have God-given authority in your state, our prayer is that we'd have someone from each state on and able to pray during this important period before Pentecost. Come and pray with us tonight.
Our desire is to comfort the heart of God with our repentance and intercession and await His visitation as we head up to Pentecost.
See you tonight!
Blessings & love to you! Ricci Wilson
