Kansas City Gathering of the Eagles, Important Notice!

Dear Friends,
We are in a season of unprecedented events and opportunities!

Yes, this virus is unprecedented, however, the effects of this virus on the world is what has truly shocked me:

Schools are closed, some for the duration of this school year! UNPRECEDENTED!

Travel is limited. International travel has been halted or dramatically restricted. Hotels are open but cannot host gatherings of more than 10, 15, or 50 depending on the state, and many do not serve food except for limited take-out, imagine serving 300 people take-out from a hotel kitchen? UNPRECEDENTED!

I’ve been in contact with the Kansas City, Holiday Inn and Expo center over the last 48 hours and unfortunately, with travel and gathering restrictions, the hotel is not going to be able to host us for our scheduled dates. UNPRECEDENTED! 

As such, our Kansas Gathering of the Eagles originally scheduled for April 13-17 has been changed to July 27-31, 2020!

If you registered your seat with us: we will automatically transfer your registration to the new dates.

If you reserved your room at the hotel: The Holiday Inn has asked us to contact them and cancel our room reservations at this time. By next week, we will be able to call and rebook our rooms with a new booking link. 

Contact your airline immediately. It’s my understanding that airlines are tremendously flexible during this season and many are even waiving the change fees! 

We really have found ourselves in an unprecedented time in history. It is a season of intensive restructuring and reordering of our lives. And friends, and our nation needs intensive prayer during this process. So, for the first time in the 21-year history of our Gatherings, we are going to have our April 13-17 Gathering, via phone! Yes…UNPRECEDENTED! We are coordinating the times and details now. It will likely run approximately 3-4 hours per day, but once we’ve solidified the time, I will send the information out to you so you can plan accordingly. This is a very exciting opportunity, as I know many are unable to join our Gatherings due to health and/or financial reasons. 

I want to encourage you friends: we are in the period of shaking but it is not something that believers should fear. God is allowing this to occur, so that all that can be shaken will be stripped from us and what will remain will be an unshakable force in the earth. As I said in my letter yesterday, this is a time of tremendous opportunity for the body of Christ to step up and take their place in the land and release the hope and the promise of eternity to those in their community. 

I also believe this shaking will also bring about a restructuring and reordering of things within our country—things we’ve prayed to see accomplished for some time now. So, let us press into God, and engage ourselves as warriors in the Kingdom of Heaven! I remind you of our corporate prayer calls every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, if you want to engage with other intercessors and perhaps you haven’t been able to up until this point, feel free to join us! 

 
Finally, I spoke to the Joel’s Army Prayer Cell Leaders a month ago about facing the upcoming storms and eliminating distractions from our lives. This was message was timely and I feel will benefit you in this hour. The title: “Turning into the Storm.”  Remember, this is geared for leaders preparing their prayer cell members for the storm, but I believe it will encourage and strengthen you as parents, heads of family, and intercessors as the Lord is raising up leaders throughout the Body of Christ for this season in history.
