Dear Friends and Intercessors,
We here at World for Jesus, CedarWood, and Joel’s Army, want to wish you a very Happy 4th of July!
I know, I know, the last few years have been very difficult and yes, watching the Elite work overtime to destroy our nation often brings me to my knees.
However, we must look to the hope of the promise God has given us for our nation. Especially today, on our nation’s birthday, we celebrate the fact that our God is a just God! He will fulfill what He promised!
Remember my friends, He has promised to bring down His Hammer of Justice, once again freeing us from the grip of the Elite and that is certainly cause for celebration! We may drop to our knees in prayer often in this season, but when we rise, we must remember to then stand on the hope of the promises of God! We stand for justice because He promised to bring His justice. We stand for freedom because He promised us freedom from the Elite. And we stand for the flag because it represents a national stand against tyranny! That my friend, brings the enemy to his knees!
I’ve done a tremendous amount of reflection during this season, reflecting on God’s plans and purposes for our nation and that always brings me hope!
On this 4th of July, let us focus on the hope of His promises!
God’s ultimate plan, as I’ve shared many times, is for the Gospel to pour across this land and then out into the nations of the earth.
It is the Matthew 28:19-20 commission directly from our Lord’s mouth:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”
Contrary to what some believe that commission was not intended to diminish over time, in fact, considering the hour in which we live, it should be at the forefront of our life and ministry. How can we possibly go wrong following that commission as individuals, as a church, and as a nation!?
As I consider our freedoms—and the Elite’s efforts to quash those freedoms—I think about those who fought and died for us to have the freedoms we possess today. I studied work of the pastors–the Black Robe Regiment—from the 17th Century who influenced their congregations to stand for Truth, Justice, and create an “American Way” for their posterity. I also considered those Rods of Righteousness still fighting today and I was infused with hope!
When our Founding Fathers penned the Declaration of Independence and our US Constitution, they poured over decades of sermons to develop a system of government which reflected Godly virtues, and Biblical values. In other words, one that could stand the test of time. These men were inspired by God to form a nation wherein the Matthew 28 Commission would have every opportunity to flourish.
Our nation and its system of government is a such rarity in the world. It affords us the freedom of religion granting us each the opportunity to find and grow in God without oppression from government while also affording us the protection from those who would persecute us for our faith. These are our Constitutional rights. The enemy may be pushing against these rights at every turn, but it’s up to the Church to press through and stand on those Constitutional rights and trust God to give us our victory.
Remember, God is moving, and He’s infusing His Church with that hope and as a result, they are fighting for this nation once again. This is such a key in our fight for this country!
Why? The Church was key to developing this nation and it will be a key to saving this nation. It was the Church that had the greatest impact on the birth of this nation: from the Covenant decreed by Robert Hunt at the 1607 Landing in Virginia to the influence of the Black Robe Regiment that followed, to the revivalists that trekked across the miles to ignite the fire of God in the hearts of the people. The Church has been, and must remain, the heart and influence of this nation.
We are called to occupy, influence, and take for the Kingdom of Heaven the nations of the earth (Luke 19:13). When the Church pursues God with all their heart, their mind, and their soul, they will fulfill Matthew 28:19-20!
As we celebrate on this 4th of July, let us remember to pray for the Church, pray for the nation, and give thanks unto our God for the hope of the promise, and the freedoms we walk in today!
Blessings & love,
Ricci Johnson-Wilson on behalf of Nita and the entire WFJM/JA/CW team!
