Dear Friends,
Here are some quick updates:
CedarWood: In two weeks, we will distribute our Thanksgiving Day meal to our CedarWood Clients. This is such a special opportunity to minister to the community on a personal level. It reaches beyond the daily need and blesses their household with a special meal. Providing this meal to over one hundred families is quite an undertaking, yet it’s something our team embraces knowing that without this effort, the families we care for would not have that Thanksgiving Day meal.
Recently, we connected with a woman who runs an organization which works to provide affordable housing in apartment communities for low and moderate-income seniors in the area. This connection enables us to reach out in greater ways than ever before by helping seniors who struggle to make ends meet on their fixed income, by offset their monthly expenses. This opened a whole new generation for us to support! What a privilege it is to serve the community in this manner.
Homeless outreach: With the cold and wet weather settling into the Seattle area, our team is providing sleeping bags, tarps, coats, socks, hats and gloves, etc., for the homeless community along with hot meals and bags of supplies for the week.
Thank you to those who have supported this arm of our ministry!
Corporate Prayer Calls: We want to remind you how important your intercession is to the future of America, and in turn, the nations of the world. We do not pray in fear, we pray in faith, fully trusting God for His will to be done. After all, praying the heart of God is the call of the intercessor. He has spoken, we need only align ourselves with His will and pray accordingly.
God is a God of justice. He is a God of truth. He fights for life. He fights for liberty. Why would we, as His intercessors, as His children, not do the same?
