Dear Friends and Intercessors,
I have several things to share with you today: A warning, a plea for the innocent, a note of deep gratitude, and all for the glory of God!
Nita’s Prophetic Message 11/10/22, Mom shared a prophetic message on Thursday, the audio will be uploaded to the Prophetic and Intercessor’s Training Ground page of our website today. We are also working on the transcription of that message now and will send it out via email and place that on our website as well. Thank you for your patience in the process.
A Warning for the Nation and the Intercessors:
The Lord spoke to me two weeks ago that the enemy was going to attempt to divide the conservative base.
Then, November 8, 2022, I had a vision of a giant shield spread across the nation. This shield had great strength forged through the difficulties of the last six years, its purpose was to protect the nation.
The enemy came up to the shield, sword in hand, raised it high above his head and tried to cut the shield right down the middle. His sword was stopped short by an army of intercessors who thrust their hands upward, preventing his sword from penetrating the top of this fortified shield. He tried again and again, but to no avail.
The only thing stopping him was our prayers and the strength of the conservative base, united in God’s plan for our nation.
I knew that if he were to be successful, he would certainly conquer the land.
Friends, God has a plan for our country, and it would benefit us and our posterity if we would align ourselves with His plans and purposes rather than our own thoughts and ideals. I will share more about this Friday November 18, detailing what He’s spoken to me and how we can pray effectively for God’s will to be done here on earth. Please join us.
This week we will have our regularly scheduled calls, join us for teaching and intercession for the nations of the earth!
A Plea for the Innocent—Nigeria
Many of you have asked about Nigeria. We are in the process—working with Pastor Sayo Ajiboye—to bring 2000 orphans, young adults, and single mothers out of Nigeria and into a place of safety. This has to be done with the wisdom of the Lord to ensure the safety of each individual and prevent any corruption in this process.
The situation in Nigeria is beyond traumatic, it’s catastrophic.
Please pray for our brother Pastor Sayo Ajiboye as he is striving to make a way where there seems to be no way. Pray for safe passage, open diplomatic channels, and provision not only for the passage, but for the welfare of those individuals once they reach a place of safety. If you would like to contribute, please use this
link. We will send out an email with greater detail in the days ahead. It’s delicate and we must be selective on what we share in our mass emails at this point.
A Note of Deep Gratitude from CedarWood
We want to thank those of you who have sown into providing Thanksgiving Dinner to our CedarWood families and winter supplies for our CedarWood Homeless outreach. Every family that attends our CedarWood Pantry on Monday will receive all the fixings to make Thanksgiving Dinner for their families.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year, whether “family” is represented by two like Mom and I when I was little, or whether “family” means too-many-to-count like it does for me today, we gather to just spend time with one another. It’s a meal my mother always made very special for me, and I try to do the same for my children and grandchildren today. We enjoy a lovely meal, play games, and reminisce. It is always a blessing.
It is with these precious memories in mind that we pursued the path that would offer this same blessing for our CedarWood families.
Financially, especially when we first began our CedarWood Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hanukkah outreach, this seemed like it would be quite a struggle for us to provide. However, it was very important to Mom (aka Mama Nita) to provide this opportunity for our CedarWood families so they too can create these precious family memories, as well as have several days of leftovers to fill their bellies.
We prayed and reached out to you—our partners in this ministry—for help and together we were able to successfully provide full holiday meal supplies to each of our CedarWood families.
It's a very labor-intensive process, picture all the planning and shopping that you do for your family and multiply that by 120+. Our first CW Directors, Ken and Kathy Rickey along with Vivian DuPorter (our Former CW Director) and Adam Shephard (our current CW Director) pulled it off year after year! Now, we have several full-time employees, a couple part-time employees, and an army of volunteers to help us accomplish this precious family-oriented outreach.
Our team does this twice in four weeks!
It’s a very busy but rewarding time of the year and we are deeply grateful to our team for their faithfulness throughout the years, but especially the last two years under the stress and strain of Covid. Every one of our CedarWood staff contracted Covid and we almost lost two of our staff members during that time. God, in His mercy, preserved us and we lost not a single staff member or volunteer! Praise be to our faithful Lord and Savior!
Our homeless outreach continues to distribute hot meals, coats, sleeping bags, tarps, thermals and so on to help those living on the streets survive the harsh winters of Seattle.
Next week, we will distribute Thanksgiving meals to 120+ families.
We want you to know that it is thanks to you and your sacrifice, your prayers, and your willingness to stand with us over the years that hundreds of people can feel the love and personal care of our Lord during the holidays! Thank you! We here at World for Jesus/CedarWood are deeply thankful for you dear brothers and sister! Thank you!
Much love,
Ricci Johnson-Wilson on behalf of Nita and our entire WFJM/JA/CW Teams
