Subject: A Look Back at 2023 and a Peek into 2024

Dear Friends,

2023 has been a year of intercession, expansion, and great need in our nation and beyond!

We could not accomplish all that God called us to without your faithful support!

Here's just a few of what we accomplished in 2023 because of YOU:

-We provided teaching, training, and development into the deeper things of God across the world.
-We raised up Joel’s Army Prayer Cells in several more nations.
-We were able to print and distribute Bibles in Nigeria.
-We supported orphanages in Africa and India
-We printed and distributed books in four different languages.
-We extended our reach into the prison system partnering with them to bring in Overcoming life of Prayer.
-We distributed Bibles in several languages to the youth of CedarWood for Passover.
-We provided weekly groceries to hundreds and hundreds through our CW Pantry/BackPack Kids programs.
-We provided a warm meal, sleeping bags, tarps, coats, gloves and much more to those without a home each week.
-As the year closed out, we provided nearly 200 families with holiday meals and even gifts for their children this Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Friends, like I said, this was just a peek into what 2023 held, but none of this would have been possible without your love and generosity.

Looking forward to 2024, we know that together, we will see the promises of God fulfilled; 2024 is the Year of Reclamation, the Year of our Liberty, and, once again, He promised that His glory is going to pour in 2024! Both Nita and I will resume teaching in January of 2024 to expound on these topics and help prepare the body of Christ for what is coming.

Exciting times are ahead beginning with our first Corporate Prayer Call January 3, 2024!

An annual question that comes through is the closing date on year-end giving:

Your 2023 giving receipt will be sent out by the end of January 2024. We are however, required to close out our 2023 donation records by 12/31/2023. Any donations that come through our website must be received by 11:59pm on December 31st.

Any year-end donations sent by check must have the check date of 12/31/2023.

Again, we thank you for standing with us in 2023, and we look forward to continuing to work together in 2024!

Here are some pressing needs our CedarWood department has:

  • We provide weekend meals for 200 children monthly. Child Sponsorship - $34.99 per month provides essential nutrition to a child in need
  • Shoes
  • Blankets - All sizes
  • Sleeping bags for the homeless
  • Volunteers
  • Diapers (Size 3 & up) & baby wipes
  • Baby Food & Formula
  • $5-$20 Gift cards for Gas for our volunteers who transport the food to and from the Pantry

Most donations can be dropped off during the Pantry or mailed into our office. Tax deductible receipts provided.


Coats & Clothes Closet:
Open Mondays and by appointment. We need volunteers to help organize and prepare clothing for visitors
   
The need is great and our numbers are increasing every week. Please pray that our volunteer base will increase as well!
