Subject: 12 Pillars of God: "Truth, Session Three, Part E"

Dear Friends,
Thank you for standing with us in prayer over the last week for our finances. We sent the call and felt your prayers come forth! Please continue to keep us lifted up. The summer season is typically the dry season for ministries, but when you are a prayer ministry and fighting for a nation, the battle increases exponentially. Your commitment to stand with us allows us to continue the work as commissioned by God. Your faithfulness makes functions such as those listed below possible!

This Saturday, June 4th, at 6:30 PM is our:

"Whom My Soul Loves"
A Night of Worship!

The River Church
2008 SE 8th Ave
Camas, WA 98607

Not in the area? Join us via our livestream page!

Artem Shatalov leads a talented group of musicians who love the Lord and desire to foster this passion for Jesus in others. These services, while geared to reach today's younger generation, have become a favorite of all ages. It's an evening full of praise and worship music with a message delivered by our precious brother, Victor Hanna. The World for Jesus Ministries is very excited to extend our ministry to the youth. It's important to understand, the revival we faithfully pray for on our corporate calls is for today's young people and as such, it's our desire to see a passion for the Lord birthed within the hearts of those attending youth nights. Consider joining us this Saturday and if you’re not in the area, consider showing your support and joining us via our livestream page. Please pray that the heart of each person attending will be open and that these services will birth an unquenchable passion and fire for Jesus.

Missions: The World for Jesus Ministries extends our reach around the world through a variety of outreaches. To name just a few: in India, we work with a pastor we've known for decades to support the women and children of his area, all of which are typically ostracized by the society in which they live. We also work to rescue and restore children sold into human trafficking. For decades, we've supported pastors around the globe, both here and overseas, so they can go into the outskirts of communities and preach the Gospel knowing their family's needs are met regardless of the size of their Sunday service.

CedarWood International: we provide wholesome (and mostly organic) foods, clothing, and even household needs such as blankets and pillows, to the Seattle-area families. We also work to provide food to school-age children through our BackPack Kids program. Even now, we are searching out additional schools we can extend our program into when school resumes. The manpower required to maintain our weekly CW activities, including our Pantry is extensive. Our staff must pick up the donated food daily, then sort and inventory it to determine how much food we need to purchase to ensure we can meet the needs of each person who attends the CW Pantry on Monday. In addition, we have clothing and household items to sort and prepare for our clients to receive each week. While this was a commission of the Lord over three years ago, we are tremendously grateful for the opportunity to serve the community in this manner.

Joel's Army: our goal is to train Prayer Shields. The Lord showed Nita years ago that these Prayer Shields, properly trained, will penetrate deep into the earth’s surface and bring forth stability to their nation. The spiritual ramification of pouring into the life of an intercessor runs deep and extends beyond our borders into every nation. We send our international leaders to meet with, teach, pray, and ultimately develop prayer cells in countries all over the world. Our desire is to work with point people in these nations and then help them reach out and further connect with the intercessors of their Nation. Prayer brings forth stabilization to a Nation in peril. Whether it's in the USA, Canada, Asia or Africa our passion is to prepare intercessors to stand in the gap as a Prayer Shield for their Nation. Here in the USA and Canada, we have an excellent team who conducts interviews, connects intercessors, and sends field kits containing comprehensive training material without charge to the intercessor. This kit contains two books and three CD series and goes out to both national and international intercessors. Our desire is to lay a solid foundation and then continue to build upon that foundation in the days ahead.

As you can see, there's so much more to World for Jesus Ministries than the weekly notices you receive, and it means so much to us that you stand with us faithfully! I invite you to go to our website to learn more about us and check out opportunities for you to get involved!

Blessings & love,

Ricci Wilson

12 Pillars of God

“Truth”

Session Three

Part - E

By

Nita Johnson

From last week…

You hear the truth when you hear the Gospel in its pure form. The Church has not been hearing the Gospel in its pure form. You might say that the Church has been receiving the milk of the Word, but how do you receive the higher truth, the purer truth of the Word? You must prepare yourself; you must plow up the fallow ground. Rid yourself of the doubt and unbelief and the fears that keep you from receiving the truth. When you do that and you begin to live, to honor Christ, to live in the purity that He required, when you live a life of holiness, a life desiring to please God, then the truth enters easily and it can go clear deep down to the inner man where God desires truth. When you begin to live off of the new matrix, the new life of truth instead of the lie, everything changes. Isn’t that beautiful? You’ve been following Him in the regeneration and hopefully you’ve been regenerated, moving backwards in time.

Psalms 24
3Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Show me Your ways, oh Lord, teach me Your paths, guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me—for You are the God of my salvation. For You, You only and all together, I wait expectantly all day long.

What is the Psalmist waiting for? He’s waiting for the Teacher of truth. The only One who can really teach us truth is God. That is the Spirit of truth.

To seek the truth is good, but what is necessary is to live the truth, which is more than seeking. You must live the truth. James said that you’re fooling yourself if you open the Word, you read it, you study it and then you don’t live it. You’re deceiving yourself. The one who is allowed to go up to the holy hill to live in God’s tabernacle (Ps. 15) is the one who lives truth. That’s where Adam and Eve dwelt in their spirit man before they fell and that’s what they lost when they fell. Have you ever wondered why Adam and Eve were naked and they never felt ashamed? It’s because they were clothed with the light and glory of God until they fell. When they fell, that garment of righteousness immediately was removed and they saw the shame but before the fall you might say they dwelt in the tabernacle of God.

Who else in history experienced that same effervescent glow as Adam? Moses did. The light of glory flashed from him, it didn’t just shine. When I was allowed to see Moses and see what it looked like when that glory was emanating from him, it didn’t just shine; it flashed like, you know, remember those old-fashioned… I don’t know if they do this anymore, I just remember we did it as children, but remember the old sparklers? You’d light them and sparkles and fire would be flashing all over the top of the sparkler. That’s how the glory flashed from his face. It flashed so brilliantly that it extended from his face down to clear below his knees. That’s how Adam and Eve walked; that’s why they weren’t ashamed.

Truth is not just a thought, and yet that’s what we’re told. What you’re taught as a human being about truth is that it is a thought, like “2+2=4.” But that’s just a thought. Truth is not a thought. What is truth? Truth is reality. It’s more than a thought; it’s more than a lifestyle. It is the real reality. Do you understand what I’m saying? It’s ok if you don’t, but what God created what he designed truth is reality; truth is love. Divine love. it’s not an emotion. It’s what God is and what you are to become if you are His. Truth is love. Truth is faith, divine faith, not human faith. Anyone can have faith. Did you know that? Anyone can have faith. The Bible says that to every man was given a divine measure of faith. Everyone has faith and what they choose to do with it is their business. You don’t have to be saved to have faith, but to walk in divine faith, which is truth, you must be saved. His Word is truth, but his Word is not just black and white on a page. His Word is the living reality. You memorize it, you read it on paper, black, red and white, but Jesus said My Word is truth. His Word is also life. What else did He say? He said, My Words are spirit and they are life – they are the living reality.

I’m talking to you because I want you to want truth. When the Spirit of truth speaks the thoughts of mans’ hearts… I can’t tell you how many times, way too many times to count, that I’ve stood in front of someone and I could hear their heart speak to me. I’m hearing the truth in their heart. Their heart speaks to me in their own voice. They are saying one thing through their mouth, but God lets me hear the truth of their heart. When truth is present, it reveals the lie, it unmasks, it unveils truth so that you can be brought into a place of stability in the kingdom. This is what God wants for you. I’m trying to help you understand that truth is more than what you ever thought of it before, so that you will desire to enter into truth; not just know it, but enter in the life of truth the living reality of truth.

The messengers from heaven came to a friend of mine and said to him, “We have been sent from the Father above to teach you to walk through walls.” He answered them, “Oh, that’s interesting!” So they stood in front of him and said, “You see this wall? This wall is not real. This wall is not truth. It was built by man, not by God. Therefore you can go through it.” So they taught him, first of all, how to put his hand through it, then his arm, then his shoulder. It took him seven days to learn how to walk through a wall. This man lives in union with Christ. Now, I’m not telling you this story to make him sound like a super-saint. I’m telling you this story so that you will understand that what you think is truth and what is the real living reality are two different things and God wants to help us reform our thinking so we can begin to see things through His eyes and believe things, believe for things beyond what we’d believe before.

If you don’t believe that a person can be taken from New Orleans to Fresno, California in an instant, then it’s never going to happen to you. If you really don’t believe that translation is possible in this time, it’s never going to happen to you. But if you do believe in translation, when God decides to put his finger on you and take you to Fresno, He will, because faith will allow it, but you have to believe beyond what you perceive to be truth. Get out of the box. Let your understanding be extended into something that is greater for these days ahead. How do you think Jesus walked through the crowds that were trying to kill him over and over again? Because he believed in translation. He knew. More than that, how did he walk on water? Have you ever thought about that? He could walk on water because He knew that the water did not need to hold Him up. He held the water up; He held the water together; He was the son of God. He understood living reality, but it starts with learning the truth about you and the truth about Him. It starts clear down here in the simple things of life and when you see that you’re not acting in conjunction with the Word, but that your attitudes and your actions are contrary to truth, you start working to change what you believe, what you do, what you say and how you act.

It starts down here, taking baby steps, and as your understanding is increased and enlarged by God, so is your faith to receive higher truth, purer truth and more truth until truth has consumed you and you are transfigured in Christ. That’s why truth is a pillar of the kingdom. You can go nowhere without it. You cannot grow into maturity in Christ without letting that pillar become a pillar in you. If you want to be a man or woman of mighty faith, cling to truth above all things. Truth is a beautiful thing—it is what Jesus is, and if it is what He is, then it is the most beautiful thing the world could ever behold and it is what you want. The Bible says, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” What do you need to be set free from, more than the deception of this world? Amen. So the next time you say that you can’t—say, “Oops, I can. In Him I can do all things.” Keep saying it until you are doing all things in Him.

[Prayer]

Father You are mighty. We don’t know You, but we want too. I tremble at your truth, Lord— always. You are mighty, Lord, wonderful in all your work. You are so powerful, so magnificent, so awesome, Lord. I am so glad we have eternity to learn and discover who You are. Lord, I sought to plant a seed that You asked me to plant and I’m asking You to help it go into their hearts and water that seed and enlarge the fruit of that seed. You are so wonderful. If only we could let go of the world to find You. If only we can humble ourselves, Lord, to become like little children and learn all over again the secrets of the kingdom. How wonderful You are. Lord, bless these people. Bless them, Lord. Every day speak Your truth to them. Add solidity to their life. Breathe faith into their hearts, Lord. Faith to believe, faith to see, faith to know, faith to understand, because you are about to do something so stupendous, Lord, and we want to be ready and not fall behind. We thank You for your goodness, Lord, in your precious name. Amen.

In His Amazing Love,
Nita Johnson
