Subject: 12 Pillars of God: "Truth, Session Three, Part A" (With Links!!)

Dear Friends,

Next week is our Seattle, Gathering of the Eagles, 2016! We have very few seats left, and while we’re bringing in extra chairs to accommodate attendees, our pre-registered intercessors will gain access first. Click here for more information including our registration link.

We are so thrilled for the opportunity to have this critical GOE at home. Matthew and Su Lambert, the Pastors at Bethel Chapel, welcomed us in and without flinching gave us the honor or making Bethel Chapel our home when we first moved to Seattle. We When the Lord directed Nita to start a ministry to those in need, again, Pastor Lambert did not hesitate to pave the way for us. Through this amazing partnership, CedarWood Int’l was born! Today, we rent a good chunk of their Church filling it with food, clothing, coats, shoes, and even a small library. This is where those of you attending the Seattle, Gathering of the Eagles will come next week!

Next week, those attending will have a rare opportunity to contribute to CedarWood. The last two times we’ve had our Gathering in Seattle the attendees brought new pillows and new or gently used coats and blankets for our warm winter drive. What a blessing this was for our CedarWood Clients. You can see photos of the fruit of your gifts on our FaceBook page. We had dozens of pillows and blankets that came through and, if I remember correctly, over a hundred coats! Our CedarWood Clients were hugging the fresh pillows and with tears wrapped themselves up in a brand new coat. It was such a powerful experience to witness. I invite you to click here and visit CedarWood’s Facebook page.

This year, our Seattle GOE is just before summertime, however, the need for pillows, blankets, clothing, shoes, and books remains. If you’ve already done your spring cleaning and have items you plan to donate but weren’t sure where to take them, bring them to Seattle with you! We’ll have a bin waiting for your donation in the foyer! No matter how small or how large, your donation will be welcomed and appreciated!

Following is the next installment in our 12 Pillars of God Series. 12 Pillars of God: Truth, Session Three, Part A. I pray that this teaching blesses you in your walk with the Lord.

Blessings & love,
Ricci Wilson

12 Pillars of God

“Truth”

Session Three

Part - A

By

Nita Johnson

Lord Jesus, You are truth. To desire truth is to desire You. To desire You is to desire truth. We long for and yearn for truth. Lord Jesus, bring us to the higher place; help us to not rest at the bottom of the mountain but to be wise like Moses and come to the top of the mountain where we may meet truth face to face. Help me share the thoughts that are upon your heart Lord; help us to receive it and to understand it that we might be seekers of truth, in Your precious name, Amen.
Isaiah 60
2For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.
That is His goal. That is His plan—that in the days of darkness that are approaching very quickly the light of His glory shall shine upon His church—but you know it’s not enough.

When the Church looks at revival, they look at what God has done in the past. God has used me twice to actually carry revival and it’s an extraordinary thing to be used in revival. The presence of God is so rich and so powerful. When the spirit of revival is present, you just believe He can do anything, and He does. He does incredible things, awesome miracles that you can hardly believe with your mind—except you see it played out before you. It’s just amazing, the simple prayer—the simple prayer of faith—because remember, you believe He can do anything and He does—so with the simple prayer of faith He re-creates bones and He recreates brains. The revival that I was used in—God, I’ll never forget—He literally recreated the brain; He healed two mentally retarded people. One was a child, a little baby. The other was an adult and it was an amazing thing to see life bloom in their mind.

You see bones that are twisted and mangled maybe through polio or other crippling diseases and God just makes them brand new and he does it in a moment. You believe he can do anything, and He does. Maybe I’ve shared this with you before, but this was one of the most outstanding miracles I’d ever seen. This child was a year old – it was a little boy and he was born without heel bones, so he had been through surgery. He was now in a body cast from his chest area down to his little toes and his mother brought him up and she said, “I want you to pray for my baby; I want God to heal him.” I asked what was wrong with him and she said that he had been born without heal bones. The doctors had already told her that he wouldn’t walk until he’s eight or nine years old. He would have to go through many, many surgeries.

I said to myself, “Well, he’s got a body cast on, so there’s no way to know what God’s done tonight.” So I am thinking, you know, I can’t labor over this for twenty or thirty minutes because there’s no way to confirm anything. So I just prayed a simple prayer. Two or three minutes, honestly, that was all, and God healed that baby. The mother took him back to the doctor and the doctor took the cast off of him, took him in for x-rays, came back to her and he showed her the x-rays. He showed her the old x-rays and said, “I’m not interested in a law suit here, I want you to know that when I told you your baby had no heel bones, I wasn’t lying; these were the x-rays; this proves he had no heel bones. These are the x-rays we just took—now he has heel bones. What happened?” She said, “You don’t have to be afraid; I’m not interested in suing. I want you to know the Lord Jesus Christ healed my baby.” Revival is a wonderful thing.

The Lord asked me one time during one of those revivals, “What I can give you? Ask Me.” I said, “Lord, give me the meanest, low down, most stinky son of gun in the city.” I want to see him saved and that’s all I prayed. That night in the service there were two teenage kids over here off to the side and they were mocking everything. Just mocking everything they saw and God was moving powerfully. The Spirit of the Lord came upon me and I pointed at those kids and I said, “Do not mock the words of the Holy Spirit,” and then I shared with them two to three terrible things that happened to people who had mocked Gods works. “Humble yourself. Bend the knee and repent!” Long story short, those kids got saved. They saw the works of the Lord, and when I reproved them, it scared the living daylights out of them and they got saved. And it turned out that one of those kids was the town terror. He was the one that I’d asked for. The whole city was afraid of him, and guess what? He was the pastor’s son. He got mad at God for whatever reason—I mean, he’s just a teenager; how mad can you get at God as a teenager?—but he did; he got mad at God and he went the opposite way as hard and fast as he could, but God captured him.

You see, in revival you believe God can do anything and He does. I can go on and on and on, but that’s not what tonight is all is about. People look for revival because they want the thrill and excitement that goes along with revival. They want to see the awesome miracles that take place when God is moving in that way. They want the atmosphere charged with the joy, the fire and the presence of God. They want to go home at night after church and be so excited that they get up the next morning and can’t wait to go back to church. They want those emotions and feelings that are part of the hope of revival, but God has a higher plan.

In His Amazing Love
