Our Daily Tours

We're a little more than half-way through August, but this month alone, we've seen between our Edmonds, Port Townsend and Port Angeles locations:

BIGG'S ORCAS (T2B, T34s, T36Bs, T37s, T37As, T49As, T60s, T65As, T75Bs, T77s, T109s, T117A & B).

HUMPBACK WHALES (Stitch, Thunderbolt, Frankenstein, Meqe, Orion, Dreamer, Vertigo, Aerie, BCY1210, BCX2064, numerous juveniles).

Lunge-feeding MINKE WHALES, and last of the GRAY WHALES (2557, 2559) departing to continue their migration. Oh, and our summer puffin tours are encountering tufted puffins and horned puffins.

Plenty of summer still left on the Salish Sea - the most popular time for whale watching, not only because of the abundance of whales in the area, but also because the weather in the Pacific Northwest is terrific. We hope you can join us for our whale tours - and if you have a special interest in birds, don't forget that this year we've expanded our popular Puffin Tours! Just north of Port Townsend lie two wildlife refuges that are home to the only nesting colonies of tufted puffins in the Puget Sound area. These are gorgeous birds and a treat to see. Tours depart out of Port Townsend and Edmonds.
