City Of Los Angeles is opening social equity dispensary application window once again. They will start the processing for qualifying social equity applicants on May 26th thru July 26th. They will pick winners from a lottery by the end of 2022.
If you have lived in LA for at least 5 years at any point in your life OR have a Marijuana conviction prior to 2016 (even pulled over for a joint), OR have lived in any area that has been disproportionately impacted by the War On Drugs (basically any low income are in California), you qualify as social equity in Los Angeles.
