I was listening to the news and a lady was grieving
over the death of her dog.
Poor Max.
He found some chocolate in the trash and ate it.
Unfortunately, chocolate is lethal to dogs.
Just a few ounces destroy their CNS (central
nervous system) and kill them.
The lesson here is two-fold.
First, if you have a dog, please be responsible -
don't let even a tiny piece of chocolate near your
dog.
But most important of all...
It's a great example of how something small and
innocent (a few ounces of chocolate) can have such
a dire impact (kill a full grown dog)
The same thing applies when you're starting
online.
A small and innocent mistake is spamming your
friends on Facebook with your offer, making every
post a dry sales pitch.
You'll turn people off.
You'll become "that guy or gal."
And nobody will want to talk to you.
