Hi Friend,
Remember that first time you got on a bicycle?
And I don't mean the baby bike, I'm talking about when you first took the training wheels off.
I know I remember mine.
I was 6 years old and my brother Ted that's 8 years older than me (name changed for privacy) took me out and said,
"Yo, Isaac (his nickname for me), we're going riding."
So here I am, with my Adidas on climbing onto this big ass bike and I start wobbling like a newborn trying to keep its head up.
Ted catches me with this prideful look on his face and says, "It's ok, I got you."
He's holding the handlebars while telling me to peddle as hard as I can.
We're both laughing, and before I knew it, he let go some time ago.
I was still peddling, with Ted beside me, thinking he's holding on when I realized he wasn't.
That's when I froze.
"I Can't do this on my own..."
I said before tumbling down to the grass.
I scraped my knee something serious and it hurt like hell.
"Yo, why'd you stop? You were doing great!" - Ted tells me.
"Because I was scared to fall, and look what happened! You left me!" - I shouted back.
Instead of getting defensive, my brother just laughed at my puffed out, angry face.
"Bro, I showed you how to get started and you took off like a champ. I was here the whole time to pick you up when you fall, cause in life, you WILL fall a few times. Especially when you're doing something new. But always remember, I got your back."
All my life, my brother has been in my corner. He's been huge in my growth as not only a business owner, but as a man.
I want to be that pillar for you.
Just like my brother was for me, allow me to point you in the right direction.
I'm always here when you need a hand getting up, or when you need a push going forward.
There's always going to be a "first time riding" situation.
But you don't have to go at it alone.
Starting an online business is no easy task.
As a fellow entrepreneur, I can relate to the hustle you’re going through.
It’s tough finding the time to learn new skills that will help you grow your business.
It's even tougher finding someone authentic to guide you.
Let me and my mentor show you the ropes.
If there's ever a moment you need guidance, reach out. I'll be happy to answer your worries.
I won't let a little fall stop you from getting back on that bike.
Take care!
