Goddess Oya - Change

The Yoruban Goddess Oya of Change represents changing weather, female leadership, persuasive charm, and transformation. When women find themselves in hard-to-resolve conflicts they turn to this most powerful Brazilian Macumbe deity for protection. Oya says that the earth must be dug up before anything can be planted and that change always brings you what you need on your path to wholeness. What chaotic dance do you need to sweep up the stagnancy in your life and create space to stir in something new? (Picture above by Hrana Janto)

This month marks the two-year anniversary of The 4-D Network's establishment as an officially recognized non-profit organization. We express our gratitude for the dedicated efforts of our board members, volunteers, and mentors, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunities that lie ahead.

The next consultation training with Catherine de Sauvage and Sage Wheeler will be on March 21st at 9 a.m.

Come walk around The 4-D Wheel! This is a chance for every therapist to do introspection as we hold each other with compassion, authenticity, and safety.

Our consultation process has blossomed. Dare to live it with us, this is real work. Consultation trainings are free for members and donation-based for non-members. You can make a donation for the monthly consultation group HERE. To reserve your spot, contact 4-D Network facilitator Catherine at csauvage2@yahoo.com, and she will send you a Zoom invitation.

✨This month's HOT JUICY TIP ✨

Stand in the center of your room. Exhale with sound and change your breathing. Let a wind sound come out each time you exhale. Turn slowly in a circle, put out your arms as you imagine you are on the top of the tallest hill and when you stop spinning call out to Oya. She appears in long red skirts. You ask her what you can do to invite change into your life. She gives you her hands and as you grab them you both lift off the ground and fly around with her wine-colored skirts encircling you both and touching your feet. Then you both land on the hill and exchange a really really deep hard full-body hug and she disappears. You feel invigorated and ready to tackle a new project or run around and dance with wonderful powerful music and play in the glory of inviting change in this season. Welcome Back, You Powerful Person!

Next year’s East Coast Summit will be hosted by Dr. Elliott Kronenfeld, and if we are lucky, he will read to us again! The date will be late September/early October 2024 in Maine.

We're working hard on our social media presence, and because The 4-D Network is international, we need to let the whole world know we are here to heal the Mind, Body, Heart, and Spirit. Any workshops or event you run where you use The 4-D Wheel may be posted on your behalf- simply contact our Administrative Assistant, Josie. She will magically pop it into a polished flyer/post so we can spread the word!

Committees and teams to grow The 4-D Network are needed in the areas of social media, 2024 AASECT, marketing, board members, newsletter, and course creation. Let Josie, Kamara, or Tina Nevin know!
