For many early in their journey to create weaIth, or build a new business, or even a new life...
(this includes me when I first got started)
The wisdom inside of this email seems counterintuitive.
“Sometimes you have to slow down in order to speed up.”
I had to have that conversation with my son yesterday, who on Friday had surgery to repair his clavicle that he broke in half snowboarding.
More to come on that, but here’s what I feel is important to say today…
As a community of people who say we want to be entrepreneurs and build businesses, it’s a toxic thought to believe that you can create any level of wealth without skill.
We’ve gotta stop having that thought.
WeaIth creation comes AFTER skill.
ALWAYS
And as a community of people already building wealth, it’s of even more importance to stop preaching that you can push this or that button and make money, build a business, create weaIth, etc.
If the thought of being able to do it is toxic, the preaching that it’s actually possible is like a nuclear bomb on the people hearing the message and the entire entrepreneurial community.
It keeps setting everything back with each bomb.
Let’s just agree to stop thinking it and preaching it.
I’ve done both.
So this isn’t a judgment thing.
It’s a... "I want people to have the truth so they can build great futures thing."
It’s a... "I want people to TELL the truth, so the industry is one that people trust in above all else."
Because only those who learn to create will
change the future.
And if we take the time and move slow (meaning to first gain the skills, the tools, and the knowledge to be able to create)…
We can then move at Mach speed to create better futures for all once we have this ability.
And it just keep moving exponentially faster as we change our thoughts and teaching on what it takes to build a real business.
