Subject: Work-Life Balance Redefined

Dear Friend

Today workspace has become increasingly challenging because of the changing variables of our work environment. No doubt, there is a need for everyone to practice a good work-life balance to achieve wellness and productivity in the midst of the changing variables.

Work-life balance is a term which describes the balance that a working individual needs between time allocated for work and other aspects of life due to personal interests, family and social activities. I therefore recommend these prospective 4 possible areas of growth to be considered this week:

  1. Your Intelligent Quotient (IQ): The cognitive abilities possessed by each person, which, when actively developed, help in studies and memorization to recall any subject matter when needed in life.

  2. Your Emotional Quotient (EQ): Empowers anyone to maintain peace with themselves and others. It can shape anyone to keep to time, accept responsibilities, respect boundaries, be genuine and considerate of oneself and others

  3. Your Social Quotient (SQ): Fuels anyone's desire to build relationships, nurture them, and maintain them for the mutual benefits of a lifetime.

  4. Your Adversity Quotient (AQ): Helps anyone go through rough patches of life without losing their balance. The AQ determines who gives up hope in the face of troubles to abandon friends and families or become filled with suicidal thoughts.

You must seek to achieve balance in the 4 highlighted areas and strengthen your life calls: family, spiritual, academic, career and business.

Our formal schools tend to program people to develop the IQ level at the expense of others but you must change this narrative by creating your own growth path in possible areas of deficiencies and school yourself to achieve your needed balance.

Have a great week ahead!
