Have you ever heard of a LinkedIn Engagement Pod? Here is an article on it, but the short definition is as follows:

"The concept is simple: Gather a group of people who will like and comment on each others’ LinkedIn posts. This triggers the LinkedIn algorithm which thinks 'Hey, this content is hot stuff, since so many people seem to be interested in it,' and then promotes that content in the LinkedIn feed to others who may be interested in it."

I have been using LinkedIn more and more lately and have seen results I never have in the past. Just in a few short weeks I have increased my connections from just over 1000 to more than 2500. I am now getting people all over the country to text GABE to 21000 and subscribe to my email drip campaign. I also have had the same results with people in the Atlanta community.

As you know, if you have what is deemed as "interesting content" (measured mostly by comments and likes) then LinkedIn will show your post to more people, thus elevating your profile, etc.

I would like to start one of these engagement pods as long as I can get 20-30 qualified participants. I would prefer them to be digital card owners who are active on social media, or who would like to be active. I am willing to help get you started if need be. If a colleague of yours does not have a digital card but would be a good fit for this, by all means please introduce them to me. I will not require them to have a digital card. We will start with LinkedIn and gradually bring in Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

So the first step is to respond if you are at all interested. I will come up with ground rules that will alleviate pressure and hopefully retain an organic quality of some kind.
