That's right, we are excited to announce the release of our new version, the Digital Card v2.0! We have made so many improvements lately that I thought it would be proper to label them Version 2.0. Here is a breakdown of all the improvements, and many of them you have already inherited with no additional charges to your account!
- Animation Sequences. You've been hearing and seeing these. These are upgrades to the existing cards that bring salient messages in a dramatic way to your prospects as soon as they open your card. For examples, check here, here and here.
- Backup Numbers. There are some instances where the short code (21000) simply will not work. Some TMobile and Sprint accounts and some VOIP services like RingCentral block them. PLUS, the number 21000 only works in the US. We have alternate numbers that will work in virtually all cases. Check your new Welcome Page for details and to choose a number. If you are already using one, you will need to do this ASAP as your int'l number will not work until you complete the process.
- Analytics Now Track Backup Numbers. Once you have selected your backup number and it is approved, you will be able to track the phone numbers and names of those who have texted you from those new numbers.
- New Welcome Screen. The welcome screen has been improved to account for those of you with multiple keywords and cards. Here you have direct access to all of your links, our events, QR codes, and much more. This is definitely something you'll want to bookmark and refer to frequently.
- Another New Way to Share Your Card. We have recently acquired our own URL shortener (something similar to bit.ly). If you are unfamiliar, it's a convenient way to send out a URL that can be remembered that will in the end take them to your digital card. Ours is dabc.io. (Short for Digital Accelerant Business Card). All you need to do is add a slash and your keyword to the end of it and that URL will take prospects right to your card. For example: This link, dabc.io/gabe goes to my primary card and this one, dabc.io/godfather to my secondary card. These are also showcased in your new welcome screen.
- QR Code Mania. Now EVERYONE has easy access to ALL of their QR codes in large format. The Welcome Screen has them for each keyword and phone number combination that you use. It will show you how to save and bookmark them on your phone so any one near you can scan it at any time. Feel free to use in any marketing flyers you might have.
- Extras, Extras, Extras. Now you can easily get digital card accessories directly from your welcome screen. Dog ate your badge? Want to upgrade to Animated? Not digging your keyword? Want a custom virtual background? We can handle all of that. Simply click the appropriate link in the Welcome Screen.
