Subject: Have You Met Your QR Code Yet??
Hello Sharks!! 

Yesterday in our networking meeting I demonstrated how you can bookmark your own QR code on your phone so that others can easily scan it at live events. You can already do this with your badge, but this is for instances when you left your badge at home or in the car.

Now remember, people don't have to use a special app to scan it. When they focus their phone camera on the QR code, a text message will be populated so that all they have to do is press "Send" to get your card. You can try it with mine below.

This is a fun alternative should they not want to text your keyword or want to try something new.

To do this yourself, first make sure you know how to bookmark a URL from the web on your phone. This tutorial set shows you how to do that on an iPhone or Android. The second key piece is to upload your QR code to your Google drive and use that URL as the one to bookmark.

If you need me to send you your QR code, just ask. Depending on how many responses I get it may take a minute.
