Hello Sharks!!
Remember the days when we all stood out among the others in real person-to-person networking events? We were wearing our badges and people knew we had a digital card.
So now we go from Zoom meeting to Zoom meeting trying to stand out all over again. One way to do it if you're not doing this already is to RENAME YOURSELF and add your keyword to 21000. To do that, click the ellipsis (three dots) on the upper right hand corner of YOUR PICTURE and choose RENAME. For example. I rename myself to Gabe O'Neill - Text GABE to 21000.
But what if you could virtually wear your badge? Well now YOU CAN!! For a limited time I am offering you all a FREE VIRTUAL BADGE you can use as your Virtual Background in Zoom. You "wear" it and simply position yourself in the frame accordingly. (See example below). And although I have not tested one yet, people may be able to scan your QR code to generate your text!!
There are only four requirements to getting one. - Your computer must be able to adequately display a virtual background. (See Zoom docs on that).
- You must go to a web cam test site and tell me the resolution of your webcam.
- You must be willing to use it regularly, although not every single time.
- You must ask me for one.
And what better time to try one out but at our next virtual meeting. If you want to do that you must tell me ASAP as I have nine digital cards in the queue and they take priority. I will deal with them on a first come first served basis and cannot guarantee they will be ready by then.
Our next meeting is Wednesday June 3 at 1:00PM EDT. Next week we will be doing TWO "60 for 60" drawings, so make sure you register early!!
