With procrastination as its loyal companion. Because, when it all seems too much, we go to our happy places. Places where we can try to forget how far behind we are, seemingly in every corner of our lives. Wishing things were different…
If you’ve ever stood back after de-cluttering a room, you’ll remember that internal whoosh of achievement. That feeling of wanting to stand there, admiring your efforts—lapping up the result.
We’ve watched as our My 15 Minutes participants have done this virtually, in our Facebook group. They’ve posted their daily results in our program as they’ve worked through each 15-minute task. Some days it’s an achievement at work. Other days it’s something at home. There are days when their post is about their health, or their finances or about a breakthrough in a relationship. People have transformed their weight, their marriages, their parenting, their home environment, their careers and their finances, one step at a time by simply following a daily instruction.
Some of the most exciting posts we see are photos from holidays our participants hadn’t imagined taking. Holidays they thought they couldn’t afford, during time they didn’t think they had.
To see the impact of these baby steps on people personally, and on their families has been the most rewarding aspect of the last two years since we’ve offered the program.
