Hi,
there's some pretty strange stuff you can buy on Amazon: - A pre-fabricated home in a shipping container
- 1,500 live ladybugs
- Uranium ore
- A home mushroom farm
- A cat butt tissue holder
- A wall decal of senior citizens in a golf cart
- A human finger
- A peanut butter and jelly of the month club
that's just the first few from a list of 50 weird things available to buy, they really do cater for all 'niches'...
now you may be thinking 'but how often am I going to sell something like that?'
and this is the beauty of Amazon, once someone clicks through from your link they're 'cookied' with your associate link and anything they buy for the next 24 hours will be credited to you!
and we all know how good Amazon is at putting stuff we want to buy in front of use once we're on the site...
so the point of these weird, 'novelty' items is to get people's attention, to spark interest, and most importantly to get shared and go viral, generating a whole bunch of free traffic for you in the process.
you even get a Chrome browser extension included that lets you automatically add products to your site [no API required], so you don't have to manually copy anything or upload images.
It’s very easy to get these stores started because the products get viral traffic on their own and you don’t have to create any content.
suddenly browsing through funny/unusual products on Amazon can actually make you some commissions, just use the chrome extension to pop them on your site!
