Subject: Winning is a byproduct of mental toughness

It's an attitude more than anything

"Being Mentally Tough is putting all that BS aside. Everything that has happened—all that noise, all the hype—and just focus on what you got to do. It's no excuses. It's no whining, no complaining. It's like this: Did you win or did you lose? End of story."

– Tom Brady, seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback

It's hard to win a Super Bowl, let alone get there, let alone make the NFL in the first place. But today's the day for all the NFL's marbles.

Tom Brady will be broadcasting the game for Fox Sports this afternoon. Not only was he a great champion, but Brady epitomized mental toughness on the football field.

But you don't have to be a champion signal-caller to incorporate mental toughness into your life or your career.

  • Focus on what you have to do.

  • No excuses.

  • No whining.

  • No complaining.

You'll probably win, but if you don't:

  • Focus on what you have to do.

  • No excuses.

  • No whining.

  • No complaining.

As always,

Brian
