Subject: The most intimidating voice in history

and my favorite ghost in the cornfield

Some people have the problem of being bored. If you can entertain them, they will make you ridiculously rich. That’s why sports stars, actors, and musicians can make the kinds of money they do.

James Earl Jones, who died today at age 93, was underpaid—even though he makes tens of millions of dollars per picture—because he entertained millions of people as the voice of Darth Vader and in many other roles.

Your income—if you choose to maximize it—will represent the value of the problems you can solve, multiplied by the number of people you help.

Some people have the problem of being fat, and they’d rather be thin.

Some people have the problem of not having money, and they’d rather have some.

Some people have the problem of not being clear about their thoughts or their passions, and are seeking clarity.

Acceptance. Self-image. Health. Sports.

There is not, and never will be, a lack of problems. People will pay you for a solution to their problem.

As always,

Brian

P.S. – For the last couple of years we have been helping people see what those problems are and what types of solutions our clients can and should offer.

We've helped people with their diets. We've showed folks how to make an extra buck here or there. We specialize in getting people to think more clearly.

As Jerry Maguire said, "Help me help you."

What we don't do is therapy. We take action.

We call it "coaching," but it's much more than that.
