My people are serious. Some of them are really "Tom Woods people," but I'm fortunate to meet with over 50 of these good folks every week in the several small groups I facilitate within the Tom Woods School of Life.
Serious people.
They ask questions like:
How can I make my life better?
What can I do to improve the lives of others?
When will I finally get out from under the thumb of corporate America?
Just within this last week, people have resolved to:
Read
• Read more non-fiction.
• Read more fiction.
• Finish my book. One hour left to go.
Write
• Write my book.
• Finish writing my book.
• Write 15 minutes a day.
• Write 20 minutes a day.
• Write a tweet at least once a day for the next 30 days.
Work
• Concentrate more on my day job.
• Quit my day job for good.
• Start a new job.
• Create a print on demand business.
• Create my online course.
Take charge
• Sign up for an online course.
• Prepare for the school year. "Yeah, I know it's only still July, but we have to get going..."
• Make my health and fitness the number one priority.
• Keep dancing!
These are just some of the "action items" people declare inside our groups and some of them are shared by several people.
Most people will accomplish these goals. They're accountable to themselves and the others within our groups.
Some folks have already reported to me that they've finished such tasks (usually within a day or two).
These accountability groups are just one of the benefits Tom's School has to offer.
Several times per month, there are webinars with experts on a wide array of topics. Within the School, a network of highly driven and accomplished folks across all fields has also developed. Job boards, chat rooms, and forums are just the beginning.
It's happening! Tom just opened the doors to his School of Life once again.
Want to meet and interact with serious people?
See for yourself:
As always,
