This is the fun part of coaching.
Setting up the program.
People love to think about all the things they love to teach others.
The other day I asked folks what they'd like to coach.
I got such a wide variety of answers, but there is one thing I kept hearing over and over.
"I don't know where to start."
I will say that the majority of people want to coach others to build or improve an online business in one way or another.
Some want to teach video techniques, other writing skils, others the technical aspects of setting up a blog and so forth.
That didn't surprise me since most of my followers on this newsletter are in the internet marketing, network marketing and especially blogging worlds.
What did surprise me a bit, though, is that it seems like such a mysterious undertaking for so many folks who are already fairly up to snuff on how to do business online.
But when it comes to setting up a coaching program, they draw blank.
So, today, I'd like to have you list out all the things you want to teach on one vertical list of a piece of paper.
Then, next to each item you've listed, give the medium... the HOW you can do it.
So, if you say you want to teach folks good copywriting techniques, answer this question: how?
Would you write a series of lessons?
Would you do a video training?
Would you talk one on one to your client via telephone?
This is the first step I'd like you to take.
Set up what you want to teach and how.
We'll go deeper into the process in our next email.
Have a happy Monday.
Talk soon,
Donna
