If you have no list, or a very
small one, the best way to start
list building could be JV Giveaways.
It costs you nothing, so you can't
"lose your shirt" like you could
playing around with FB ads or even
solo ads, and other pay per click
forms of advertising.
The drawbacks to this are that
1. they are found mostly in the
Personal Development and IM niches,
-and-
2. they tend to attract a large
percentage of "freebie seekers".
Despite those drawbacks, though,
I often recommend that folks start
here to get their list campaigns
off the ground.

Let me give you a quick idea of
how a JV Giveaway event works.
It's called "JV" because you offer
a "giveaway" (free product, or
lead magnet) along with other
marketers, your so-called joint
venture or JV partners.
All the JV's in the event want to
add new subscribers to their list,
just like you do.
The JV Giveaway event is organised
and run by an internet marketer.
The organizer will advertise the
event, but they require that you
and all the other JV's also promote
it, usually by emailing to their lists.
That way, everyone is working together
to bring visitors to the "event."
You will submit your squeeze page to
the giveaway event, offering a free gift.
There will be a set date for the event
to begin and end.
During that time, event visitors will
go to a web page that has lots of free
stuff from different marketers.
A link to your squeeze page will be
one of the offers on the site.
Most of these events are huge, and you
stand an excellent chance to get lots
of optins to your list from folks who
want your free offer.
You can even add an OTO (one time offer)
to your freebie, so people can actually
make a purchase after they've signed
onto your list.
Even if they don't buy it, though,
you're building a list that you can
continually market to, over and over
again.
The best part is... no cost!
Beats paid ads in my book, as long as
you don't mind getting a lot of people
who won't ever be buyers.
You shouldn't mind, because a lot of
them will be happy to follow you loyally
and buy time and time again from you.

tips is... JV Giveaways.
