I attended the 10X bootcamp interactive over the weekend and it is always useful to have a refresher on Grant's content. If you are having trouble closing your deals, here are some of the big lessons from Part 7: Closing the Deal

What are the requirements for Closing the Sale?


  • Decision Maker

  • Wherewithal (Money)

  • Sold on the product

  • Belief in you

  • Confidence in the product

  • A written offer (more believable than a verbal offer)

  • Urgency (Why Now?


Think about the last deal you failed to close. What was missing? How could you do better next time?

Objections fall into 5 categories:


  • Product

  • Time

  • Stall

  • Money

  • Unspoken


What were the last few objections that you had when you failed to close the deal? What category did those objections fall under?


Are these real objections? Or are they complaints?

Have some "Always"


  • Always Write A Proposal

  • Always ask to buy

  • Always ask again

  • Always introduce a 3rd party

  • Always ask why

  • Always ask why not


Are these "always" strategies things you incorporate into your closes? If not, why not?
